About Hortonfest

Hortonfest is a multi-artist music event connected to Tulsa's Horton Records and the label's extended community of performers. The festival has a scene-driven identity, serving as a showcase-style gathering for artists connected to the local and regional music network.

The event remains active, with a recent edition associated with Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa scheduled for January 24. Its current format is rooted in live performance and artist community rather than large-scale destination-festival production, giving Hortonfest a more intimate and locally connected feel.

Musically, Hortonfest centers on roots, Americana, and local independent music. Its distinctive character comes from the way it blends homegrown Tulsa acts with visiting touring performers, creating a lineup that reflects both regional identity and a broader independent music circle.

If you're searching for Hortonfest tickets or want to check the current Hortonfest lineup and dates, Box Office Ticket Sales carries inventory across available event dates and pass options.

What to Expect at Hortonfest

Hortonfest is built around live performance, local music culture, and the artists connected to Horton Records and the Tulsa independent scene. The event pairs local favorites with touring artists, giving fans a chance to experience a lineup shaped by community connection and roots-oriented programming.

The atmosphere is community-oriented and scene-driven. Rather than emphasizing large festival grounds or massive production scale, Hortonfest is known for bringing together fans who appreciate live roots, Americana, and independent music in a focused performance setting.

Because Hortonfest has been associated with Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, fans can expect the energy of a venue-based music event when an edition is scheduled there. That format keeps the focus on the artists, the songs, and the shared experience of seeing multiple performers in one setting.

The audience for Hortonfest tends to reflect the local and regional music community around Horton Records. For fans who enjoy discovering artists through a label, a city scene, or a live-music network, Hortonfest offers a grounded way to connect with performers in a concentrated event environment.

Know Before You Go

Hortonfest operates under a bag policy that is updated and enforced each year. The specific dimensions, permitted materials, and exceptions are published on the official festival website before the event — confirm current details before you pack.

Commonly prohibited items at festivals and multi-artist music events may include outside food or alcohol, professional camera equipment, drones, and items that raise safety concerns. Check the current event rules before you arrive so your entry process is as smooth as possible.

Re-entry policies can vary by event date and venue setup. Before leaving the event area, confirm whether your pass allows re-entry and what you need to show if you plan to return.

Ticket delivery and entry processes can vary by listing and event format. Review your BoxOfficeTicketSales.com order details carefully so you know whether your pass is delivered digitally, requires scanning at entry, or includes additional instructions before arrival.
