About Premier Theater At Foxwoods

It opened in 2008 as part of the MGM Grand at Foxwoods expansion and was later rebranded. The venue is owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and operated as part of Foxwoods Resort Casino. Its event calendar includes rock, pop, country, Latin, R&B/soul, oldies, stand-up comedy, boxing and combat sports, tribute and legacy acts, and special variety events.

Its distinctive appeal comes from the combination of an intimate modern theater, flexible seating arrangements, and direct access to resort hotels, dining, bars, and gaming within the same complex.

Location & Transportation

Premier Theater At Foxwoods is located at 39 Norwich Westerly Rd., Ledyard, CT 06339 — inside the Foxwoods Resort Casino complex in southeastern Connecticut.

Driving and Parking: The venue is reached via Route 2 in southeastern Connecticut, and most guests arrive by car. Foxwoods offers ample on-site resort parking, including garages and valet. Parking is generally free for guests, with valet available for those who want the shortest resort access route.

Transit: Public transit access is limited because the venue is in a rural area of Ledyard. Foxwoods operates bus service and chartered coach programs from regional cities, and scheduled casino buses serve the resort from parts of Connecticut, New York, and surrounding states.

Rideshare: Rideshare drop-off and pickup are available at designated resort areas. After large events, waits can be longer because of the venue’s remote location and simultaneous casino traffic, so building in extra time is a smart move.

Nearby Accommodation: Foxwoods Resort Casino offers extensive on-site lodging, including multiple hotel towers such as Grand Pequot and Great Cedar, plus the adjacent Great Wolf Lodge. Staying on property offers the easiest access to Premier Theater At Foxwoods because the theater, hotels, restaurants, and entertainment areas are connected within the resort environment.

Venue Navigation

Premier Theater At Foxwoods sits inside a large resort complex, so understanding the layout before arrival helps make the experience smoother. Guests should expect an indoor walk through casino concourses, hotel areas, and signed resort corridors before reaching the theater entrance.

Entrances and Access: Guests access the theater through the Foxwoods Resort Casino complex. Interior concourses and signage guide visitors from parking areas, hotel towers, and the gaming floor toward the theater.

Seating Levels: The venue uses a flexible theater layout with floor-level sections and tiered or riser seating depending on the event configuration. Some events are arranged as reserved-seat concerts, while others can use a more open ballroom-style setup.

Accessibility: ADA-accessible seating and services are available, along with accessible parking and accessible routes through the resort complex.

Getting to Your Section: Interior signage and staff direct guests from the casino concourses to the theater entrance and seating areas. Because Foxwoods is a sprawling resort, allow extra walking time between parking, hotels, restaurants, the gaming floor, and the theater.

How Much Do Tickets to Premier Theater At Foxwoods Cost?

Premier Theater At Foxwoods ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the artist or act, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from stand-up comedy to high-demand headliners and boxing.

For comedy and smaller shows, tickets can start around $30–$60, with pricing moving higher for stronger demand, better seat locations, and weekend performances.

For mid-tier reserved concerts, tickets are often approximately $50–$125, depending on the artist, date, and section. Rear and side seating can provide a more budget-friendly option, while center sections and closer floor seats typically cost more.

For high-demand headliners and boxing events, tickets can start around $100 or more, with premium seats often priced higher. Front sections, premium reserved seats, and marquee weekend dates tend to see the strongest demand.

Buying earlier generally yields better seat selection and pricing for popular shows. As inventory shrinks and the event date approaches, prices for the best remaining sections can rise, especially for marquee artists, comedy names, and combat sports cards.

Premier Theater At Foxwoods Seating Guide

Premier Theater At Foxwoods uses a flexible seating layout, so the best seats can change based on whether the event is arranged as a reserved-seat concert, a comedy show, a combat sports card, or a ballroom-style setup. Understanding the difference between floor sections, tiered seating, riser areas, and general admission configurations helps you choose the right experience before buying.

Best Seats at Premier Theater At Foxwoods

Getting Ready for Your Premier Theater At Foxwoods Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially inside a large resort complex where parking, casino traffic, and interior walking time can all affect your arrival.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Mobile service can be congested during large events because of concentrated crowds. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the entrance without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Give yourself time for parking, the walk through the resort, and entry screening. Casino traffic can add time on busy nights.
• Wear the right footwear. Access is primarily indoor and level, but Foxwoods is a large resort complex, so comfortable shoes help with the walk from parking, dining, hotel areas, or the gaming floor to the theater.
• Plan for the weather before and after the show. The venue is indoors, but weather can still affect the drive, outdoor parking approach, and walk between your vehicle and resort entrances.
• Build extra time into your arrival plan. Parking, resort navigation, and security screening can take longer when a major show overlaps with busy casino traffic.
• Know where the theater sits inside the resort. Follow interior signage from parking areas and the gaming floor toward Premier Theater At Foxwoods so you can move through the complex efficiently.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
