About Oshkosh Arena

Oshkosh Arena is a modern indoor multi-purpose arena located at 1212 S Main St in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The facility opened in 2017 and was developed and owned by Fox Valley Pro Basketball, Inc., with arena management handling concerts and event booking. Capacity is approximately 3,500–4,000 for basketball, with configurable layouts for concerts and other live events.

The arena was purpose-built as the home of the Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate that brings professional basketball to Oshkosh. It also serves as home court for the Wisconsin GLO and is used by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titans. Beyond basketball, Oshkosh Arena hosts concerts, family shows, comedy, community events, and touring attractions such as the Harlem Globetrotters World Tour.

As Oshkosh’s premier indoor arena for professional basketball, concerts, and live entertainment, it serves the Fox Valley region with a compact, high-energy setting where fans stay close to the court or stage.

Location & Transportation

Oshkosh Arena is located at 1212 S Main St, Oshkosh, WI 54902 — on South Main Street with convenient access from the U.S. Highway 41 corridor.

Driving and Parking: Oshkosh Arena is primarily car-accessed, and on-site and adjacent surface parking are available for events. For popular basketball games, concerts, and family shows, arriving early helps with parking, entry, and getting settled before the event begins.

Transit: Local GO Transit bus service operates in the Oshkosh area, including service in the area around South Main Street. Transit can be useful for guests traveling locally, though the arena’s event traffic pattern is generally built around driving and nearby surface parking.

Rideshare: Rideshare drop-off and pickup are available at the Main Street entrance. Because Oshkosh Arena is a smaller-market venue, post-event waits are typically shorter than at major metro arenas, though the busiest departures still happen immediately after the final buzzer or encore.

Nearby Accommodation: Hotels are available throughout Oshkosh, with additional lodging clustered near the US-41 interchange and downtown Oshkosh. Staying downtown or near the highway corridor gives visitors straightforward access to the arena and nearby dining.

Venue Navigation

Oshkosh Arena has a straightforward indoor arena layout, with a single-bowl seating configuration and concourse-level access to seating. Understanding the basic layout before you arrive makes it easier to move from parking or rideshare drop-off to your section with less delay.

Entrances and Access: The main entrance faces South Main Street, giving guests a clear arrival point for events. Digital ticket verification is part of the standard entry process, so having your tickets ready on your phone helps keep the line moving.

Seating Levels: The arena uses a single-bowl configuration surrounding the court for basketball, with seating and event layouts that can be reconfigured for concerts and touring shows. Basketball events include floor and courtside seating closest to the action, while concerts may use stage-focused setups that change the relationship between sections and the performance area.

Accessibility: Accessible seating and parking are available, consistent with a modern arena opened in 2017. Guests who need accessible options should use the available seating filters and event listing details when selecting tickets.

Dining Options

Inside Oshkosh Arena

Concessions are available during events at Oshkosh Arena, including typical arena food and beverage service with alcohol. For the smoothest experience, plan concessions before the event starts or during natural breaks, since lines can build around tipoff, showtime, and intermission periods.

Outside the Venue — South Main Street and Downtown Oshkosh

Dining options are available along South Main Street and in nearby downtown Oshkosh. Guests looking to make a full night of the event can choose a pre-show meal downtown or stop near the South Main Street corridor before heading to the arena.

Security & Policies

Oshkosh Arena maintains security and venue policies that are updated regularly and may vary by event. Before attending, reviewing the current policy on the venue's official website is strongly recommended.

Bag Policy: Bag restrictions typically apply at Oshkosh Arena. Clear-bag or limited-bag policies may be in effect depending on the event, so packing light is the easiest way to move through security efficiently.

Commonly Prohibited Items: Weapons, outside food and drink, and professional recording equipment are commonly restricted. Other items deemed a safety risk can also be restricted by event staff.

Entry Procedures: Bag checks and digital ticket verification are standard entry expectations. Arriving with a compliant bag and pre-downloaded tickets speeds entry and reduces delays at the arena entrance.

How Much Do Tickets to Oshkosh Arena Cost?

Oshkosh Arena ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the artist or team, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from Wisconsin Herd and Wisconsin GLO basketball to touring concerts and Harlem Globetrotters appearances.

For Wisconsin Herd and Wisconsin GLO basketball, tickets are commonly priced at approximately $15–$50. Upper rows and corner or end sections are typically the most affordable, while courtside and center-court sideline locations carry higher prices because they put fans closest to the court and best overall sightlines.

For concerts and touring shows, tickets typically run about $30–$90 or more depending on the act. Demand is driven by the performer, the stage setup, the seat’s distance from the stage, and how quickly inventory moves once a show is announced.

For family shows and Harlem Globetrotters events, tickets are often around $25–$75. Seats closer to the floor or main performance area tend to be priced higher, while upper rows and end sections can offer a strong value for families and groups.

Buying earlier generally provides better seat selection and pricing for high-demand events. As inventory shrinks and the event date approaches, prices for the best remaining sections can rise, especially for sold-out basketball games, concerts, and popular touring attractions.

Best Seats at Oshkosh Arena

• Best value: Upper rows and corner or end sections are typically the most affordable areas, offering a full view of the arena at a lower price point.
• Closest to the action: Courtside and floor-level seats put fans nearest to the court or stage, making them the top choice for maximum proximity.
• Best overall experience: Center-court sideline sections offer the strongest overall basketball sightlines, balancing closeness, angle, and atmosphere.

Getting Ready for Your Oshkosh Arena Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical steps make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at an indoor arena where parking, entry, and digital ticket scanning all happen close to event time.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the entrance without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Give yourself extra time for parking and entry, particularly for sold-out basketball games and concerts.
• Wear the right footwear. Oshkosh Arena is a standard indoor arena with concourse-level access and minimal terrain concerns, so comfortable shoes are usually enough for walking from parking, through security, and to your seats.
• Plan for Wisconsin weather on the way in. The event experience is indoors, but winter weather can affect arrival, driving, parking, and the walk into the arena.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
