About Colisee Videotron

Colisée Vidéotron reopened in 2021 as a modern rebuilt facility on the site of the former Colisée de Trois-Rivières. The arena is municipally owned by the City of Trois-Rivières and is located at 6000 rue du Colisée in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. Its capacity is approximately 4,000–4,500 for hockey, with configurations that vary for concerts and other events.

The venue serves as the home of the Trois-Rivières Lions of the ECHL and hosts professional ice hockey alongside concerts, family shows, community events, and other sporting events typical of a mid-size regional arena. As a contemporary regional event venue, it plays a central role in the city’s live-event calendar and supports professional hockey in the Mauricie region.

A standout feature of Colisee Videotron is its premium level, which includes 20 spacious VIP suites overlooking the ice with clear sightlines from multiple angles.

Driving and Parking: Driving is the primary way most attendees reach Colisee Videotron. On-site and surrounding parking are available at the arena grounds, and arriving early is recommended so you have time to park and make your way inside before puck drop, showtime, or the start of your event.

Nearby Accommodation: Hotels are available throughout Trois-Rivières, including properties along the Highway 40 corridor and in the downtown area near the St. Lawrence River. Staying downtown can also put you close to restaurants and other city amenities before or after the event.

Venue Navigation

Colisee Videotron is an indoor arena built around a seating bowl that surrounds the ice surface, with suite seating positioned above the action. Knowing the layout before you arrive helps you understand where your seats are located and how close you’ll be to the ice or stage.

Entrances and Access: Main entrances lead into concourse areas that serve the seating bowl and suite levels. Digital ticket verification is standard for ticketed events, so having your mobile ticket ready before you reach the arena entrance helps keep the line moving.

Concourse Levels: The arena layout centers on a bowl surrounding the ice, with a premium level made up of 20 VIP suites overlooking the playing surface. For hockey, side sections near center ice offer the most balanced views, while end and corner areas generally provide more affordable options.

How Much Do Tickets to Colisee Videotron Cost?

Colisee Videotron ticket prices vary widely depending on the type of event, the artist or team, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from ECHL hockey to concerts and special events.

For Trois-Rivières Lions hockey, tickets are typically priced in an affordable minor-pro range, often starting low in the $20s–$40s per seat. Prices can rise for stronger opponents, better lower-bowl locations, and high-demand dates.

For concerts and special events, pricing varies by act, arena configuration, and seat location. Demand is usually shaped by artist draw, whether the event uses the full seating bowl or a modified setup, and whether fans are looking for general seating or premium suite options.

Buying earlier generally provides better seat selection and pricing, especially for marquee opponents or high-demand events. As inventory shrinks and the event date approaches, the best remaining seats can become harder to find at the strongest value.

Getting Ready for Your Colisee Videotron Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at an indoor ice arena where most attendees arrive by car.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the arena entrance without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Allow extra time for on-site and surrounding parking, since most attendees drive to the arena.
• Dress in layers. Colisee Videotron is an indoor ice arena, so the interior can feel cool during hockey events. In winter, also plan for Quebec weather when arriving and departing.
• Build extra time into your transit plan. RTCTR bus service reaches the venue, but transit is limited compared to major metro systems, so a wider arrival buffer is useful.
