CN Centre Tickets & Events

CN Centre anchors major indoor entertainment in Prince George as the primary large-scale event venue for northern British Columbia, hosting Prince George Cougars hockey, touring concerts, comedy, family shows, and community events. CN Centre tickets bring fans into a mid-sized arena setting on the Prince George Exhibition Park grounds, where the enclosed bowl can shift from WHL game nights to concert and show configurations.

This page covers everything you need to know before you go — from finding the right seats to getting there, navigating the venue, and buying with confidence.

About CN Centre

CN Centre is a multi-purpose indoor arena located at Prince George Exhibition Park in Prince George, British Columbia. Opened in 1995, it is owned and operated by the City of Prince George and has a capacity of approximately 5,971 seats, with configurations that adapt for concerts and other events. The arena sits at the corner of Ospika Boulevard and 18th Avenue, giving it a spacious event-park setting with room for on-site access and parking.

The venue is best known as the home of the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League, but its calendar extends well beyond hockey. CN Centre hosts touring concerts across genres, comedy, family shows, and community or special events, making it the main indoor hub for major entertainment in Prince George and northern British Columbia.

Designed by PBK Architects, CN Centre is defined by its flexible arena bowl, its Exhibition Park location, and its role as the region’s leading destination for Cougars games and large-scale live events.

Location & Transportation

CN Centre is located at 2187 Ospika Blvd, Prince George, BC V2N 6Z1 — on the Prince George Exhibition Park grounds at the corner of Ospika Boulevard and 18th Avenue.

Driving and Parking: Free parking is available at all CN Centre events, and VIP parking is offered for select events. Because the arena sits on the large Prince George Exhibition Park grounds, guests have access to ample on-site parking for hockey games, concerts, family shows, and other ticketed events. Arriving early is still a smart plan for high-demand nights, especially when you want time to park, enter, and settle in before puck drop or showtime.

Nearby Accommodation: Hotels and lodging are available throughout Prince George, including options along the city’s main commercial corridors. Staying a short drive from the arena can make arrival and departure easier, particularly for evening concerts, winter hockey games, and family events.

Venue Navigation

CN Centre uses a single-bowl arena layout with concourse-level access into the seating bowl. Understanding the basic setup before you arrive helps you move from the Exhibition Park grounds into the concourse and then down into your section with less delay.

Entrances and Access: Main entrances feed into the arena concourse from the Exhibition Park grounds at 2187 Ospika Blvd. The venue’s setting at Ospika Boulevard and 18th Avenue gives guests a straightforward arrival point for ticketed events.

Concourse Levels: CN Centre has a single-bowl seating arrangement typical of a mid-sized arena. Seating surrounds the ice or floor for hockey and can be adapted for end-stage concert configurations, with guests entering from the concourse and moving into the seating bowl from there.

Security & Policies

CN Centre maintains security and venue policies that are updated regularly and may vary by event. Before attending, reviewing the current policy on the venue's official website is strongly recommended.

Entry Procedures: Digital ticket verification is used at entry for ticketed events. Having your tickets downloaded and ready before you reach the arena entrance helps keep the line moving and makes entry smoother on busy event nights.

How Much Do Tickets to CN Centre Cost?

CN Centre ticket prices vary widely depending on the type of event, the artist or team, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from WHL hockey and family shows to touring concerts.

For Prince George Cougars WHL hockey, tickets are commonly in the approximate CA$20–$45 range. Prices can vary by opponent, seat location, matchup demand, and game timing, with center-ice and lower-bowl areas generally drawing more interest than upper or end-zone sections.

For concerts and touring shows, CN Centre tickets are typically around CA$45–$125 or more depending on the act. Floor seating, closer lower-bowl sections, and high-demand artists can push prices higher, while upper and end sections may offer more affordable entry points.

For family shows and comedy events, representative prices are often around CA$30–$80. Demand depends on the performer, show format, seating setup, and overall interest in the event.

Buying earlier generally provides better seat selection and pricing for high-demand concerts and marquee games. As inventory shrinks and the event date gets closer, prices for the best remaining sections can rise, especially when a popular act or key matchup drives demand.

CN Centre Seating Guide

CN Centre’s seating layout is worth reviewing because the arena shifts between hockey, end-stage concerts, family shows, comedy, and other event formats. The single-bowl setup surrounds the ice or floor for Cougars games and adapts for concerts based on stage placement.

Best Seats at CN Centre

• Best value: Upper and end-zone seating sections are typically the most affordable options at CN Centre. These areas can be a strong choice for fans who want to be in the building at a lower price point while still getting the full arena atmosphere.
• Closest to the action: Lower-bowl rink-side seating puts hockey fans near the ice for Prince George Cougars games. For concerts configured with a floor, floor seating offers the closest proximity to the stage and performers.
• Best overall experience: Center-ice and center-floor sections along the sidelines offer the best overall sightlines. These areas balance view, proximity, and perspective, making them a reliable choice for both hockey and live entertainment.

The map lets you compare sections side by side, check row depth and distance from the stage or court, and see real-time pricing for what's currently available — all before committing to a purchase.

Can I See Where My Seats Are?

Yes. The interactive seat map on BoxOfficeTicketSales.com shows your exact section and row placement before you buy. Use it to understand your position in the venue, your distance from the stage or court, and whether you're in lower-bowl rink-side seating, along the center-ice sidelines, or in upper and end-zone sections — so the tickets you choose match exactly what you're looking for on event night.

Getting Ready for Your CN Centre Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially during Prince George’s cold winter hockey season.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the arena entrance without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Arriving early gives you time to take advantage of the free on-site parking, get through entry, and settle in before puck drop or showtime.
• Dress in layers. Prince George experiences cold winters, so dress warmly for travel to and from the arena during hockey season.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
