Virginia Cavaliers Wrestling Seating at Memorial Gymnasium

Memorial Gymnasium (Mem Gym) is a historic, single-bowl gymnasium environment that’s well suited to wrestling, with seating that surrounds the competition area and keeps sightlines focused on the mat. It’s an intimate building by design, and that close-in feel is a big part of the match-day experience in Charlottesville.

Best Seats for Virginia Cavaliers Wrestling Games

The right seat depends on what kind of match day experience you're after:

• Best value: Upper and end seating rows farthest from the mat — an elevated view with solid angles and a lower price point
• Closest to the action: Sideline seating closest to the mat — feel the pace, hand-fighting, and scrambles up close
• Best overall view: Center sideline seating aligned with the mat — balanced sightlines that help you follow setup-to-score sequences from start to finish, especially from matside
• For groups and premium experiences: Reserved seating options and prime sideline locations — a comfortable way to keep everyone together for a bigger match-day outing

If you’re organizing a group for a high-demand dual (especially key ACC matchups), it’s smart to lock in seats early so everyone can sit together.
