About the Somerset Patriots

The Somerset Patriots bring affordable, family-friendly baseball to Bridgewater Township (Somerset County), New Jersey as members of the Eastern League (Double-A) and the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. Founded in 1998, the Patriots built a long-standing fan following before becoming the Yankees’ Double-A affiliate in 2021, replacing the Trenton Thunder as New York’s Double-A partner.

Patriots games are played at TD Bank Ballpark, which opened in 1999 and offers an intimate setting with a capacity of approximately 6,100 (expandable to around 8,000 with standing room and berm areas). Located in Bridgewater, NJ along the Raritan River corridor, the ballpark is built for close-to-the-field views, family outings, and group get-togethers with features like a grass berm, picnic areas, and party/group spaces.

On the field, Somerset is a key stop in the Yankees’ player-development pipeline — the step between High-A and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre — and the roster regularly features top New York Yankees prospects working toward the majors. Between the promotions, fireworks nights, and the chance to watch rising talent, browsing Somerset Patriots tickets early is the smartest move for popular dates.
