Rutgers Scarlet Knights Wrestling Tickets

Inside Jersey Mike’s Arena—long known as “the RAC”—the compact bowl and close sightlines create a loud, intense setting where every takedown and near fall feels right on top of you. Whether you’ve followed the program for years or you’re planning your first dual, Rutgers Scarlet Knights Wrestling tickets put you inside one of the Big Ten’s most electric match-day environments.

This page covers everything you need — from choosing the right seats at Jersey Mike’s Arena to knowing what to expect when you arrive on match day.

About Rutgers Scarlet Knights Wrestling

Rutgers Scarlet Knights Wrestling competes at the NCAA Division I level in the Big Ten Conference, a league widely regarded as college wrestling’s premier battleground. Since joining the Big Ten in 2014, Rutgers has elevated its profile by facing national powers on a regular basis and building a program known for producing high-end individual results.

The modern era has included major NCAA Championship success. Anthony Ashnault won the NCAA individual national championship at 149 pounds in 2019, and teammate Nick Suriano captured the NCAA individual title at 133 pounds the same year—giving Rutgers two individual national champions crowned at the same NCAA Championships. Other notable figures tied to the program’s rise include Scott Winston, along with longtime head coach Scott Goodale, who is credited with transforming Rutgers into a nationally relevant program.

On match day, Rutgers wrestling is at home at Jersey Mike’s Arena in Piscataway, New Jersey. The arena seats approximately 8,000 and opened in 1977 as the Rutgers Athletic Center before being renamed Jersey Mike’s Arena in 2022. The building’s “tight and loud” reputation—dating back to its RAC identity—translates perfectly to wrestling, where compact seating can create an intense, intimate environment for duals.

Rutgers’ Big Ten schedule and regional rivalries can drive demand, especially for marquee matchups. In-state and Northeast ties add extra edge against Princeton and Lehigh, while Big Ten showdowns with Penn State and Iowa are measuring-stick duals that draw energized crowds. If there’s a specific rivalry match you’re targeting, browsing Rutgers Scarlet Knights Wrestling tickets early is the smartest move.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights Wrestling tickets typically range from around $10 to $25 for general admission and standard seating to $30–$50 or more for the best seats, with suites and hospitality packages running higher.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights Wrestling Seating at Jersey Mike's Arena

Jersey Mike’s Arena is known for its compact, bowl-style layout that keeps the crowd close and loud. For wrestling, that tight footprint helps create strong sightlines and an intense feel throughout the Arena, whether you’re posted up near the mat or taking in the dual from higher rows.

Best Seats for Rutgers Scarlet Knights Wrestling Games

The right seat depends on what kind of match day experience you're after:

Best value: Upper rows and end sections farther from the competition floor — an elevated full view, plenty of crowd energy, and a lower price point
Closest to the action: Courtside/floor-level seating nearest the mat — feel every scramble and momentum shift up close
Best overall view: Center sections along the length of the mat at the lower levels — strong sightlines (especially from a mat-side perspective) as action develops across the mat
For groups and premium experiences: Courtside/floor-level seating nearest the mat — a premium way to experience the dual with added comfort and a closer view of the action

If you’re organizing a larger group for a marquee Big Ten dual, it’s smart to shop early—high-demand matchups tend to thin out the best seating options quickly.

Yes. The interactive seat map on BoxOfficeTicketSales.com shows your exact section and row placement before you buy. Use it to get a clear picture of your sightline, whether you're positioned "mat-side or in the elevated lower bowl", and how close you'll be to the mat — so the seat you choose matches what you're actually looking for.
