This page covers everything you need — from choosing the right seats at Hammel Court to knowing what to expect when you arrive on game day.

About Merrimack Basketball

Merrimack Warriors basketball competes at the NCAA Division I level and represents Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts. After beginning its Division I transition with the 2019–20 season, Merrimack made an immediate statement by winning the Northeast Conference regular-season championship in its first D-I year under head coach Joe Gallo. The program later moved into the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in 2024, continuing its growth as a competitive mid-major.

Home games are played at Hammel Court (Lawler Arena / Merrimack Athletics Complex), an on-campus venue known for a close, energetic environment. With a capacity of approximately 2,700, the building creates the kind of tight, high-intensity atmosphere that makes college hoops feel personal — you’re near the action, and you can feel momentum swings immediately.

Merrimack’s schedule features familiar regional matchups from its time in the Northeast Conference, including Saint Francis and Central Connecticut State, while new MAAC rivalries are developing with programs such as Iona, Quinnipiac, and Siena. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Merrimack Warriors Basketball tickets early is the smartest move.
