About the Johnstown Mill Rats

The Johnstown Mill Rats bring affordable, family-friendly baseball to Johnstown, Pennsylvania as members of the Prospect League, a collegiate summer wood-bat league for current college players. Founded in 2020 and beginning play in 2021, the Mill Rats give fans a chance to watch rising talent compete in a developmental summer environment where players sharpen their skills with wood bats and then return to their college programs after the season.

Home games are played at Point Stadium, a historic ballpark site in downtown Johnstown near the confluence of the Stonycreek and Little Conemaugh Rivers. With an approximate capacity of 6,000, the setting is intentionally intimate and community-oriented — the kind of place where you can settle in, track every at-bat, and feel close to the action from the first inning through the final out.

The Mill Rats also embrace Johnstown’s industrial identity — the “Mill Rats” name nods to the city’s steel and manufacturing roots — and the Prospect League schedule often features promotional nights typical of collegiate summer baseball. If you already have a date in mind (especially for special events), browsing Johnstown Mill Rats tickets early is the smartest move.

  • Check the bag policy before you go so there are no surprises at the entrance.
