Comedian Information

Funny Women Of A Certain Age began in the United States with roots in the New York comedy scene. The show was created by veteran comedian Carole Montgomery as a showcase for older women stand-up comics, giving them a platform to be seen and heard. Since its start around 2016–2017, the concept has grown from a live showcase into an active touring comedy event.

The profile of Funny Women Of A Certain Age expanded through branded comedy specials, including Funny Women of a Certain Age on Showtime and Even More Funny Women of a Certain Age on Prime Video. Those specials helped bring the showcase to streaming audiences and introduced more viewers to the performers and mission behind the event. The Prime Video follow-up included Teri Hatcher alongside Carole Montgomery and other featured comics.

Today, Funny Women Of A Certain Age continues as an ongoing touring showcase playing comedy clubs and theaters across the U.S. The live format typically features a rotating cast of women stand-ups sharing the bill over roughly a 90-minute show, with featured comics delivering polished, confident sets built from years of stage experience. Past and current venue contexts include clubs such as New York Comedy Club and performing-arts settings such as The Sharon in The Villages.

Why See Funny Women of a Certain Age Live

A Funny Women Of A Certain Age live show is built on the strength of seasoned performers who know how to command a room. The lineup changes by date, which gives the event a fresh feel from city to city while keeping the core identity intact: direct, uninhibited stand-up from women comics with the confidence and experience to turn personal stories into big laughs.

The live show offers something different from the streaming specials. The specials present a curated cast, while the touring version brings a rotating lineup and the immediate energy of comics performing in front of a live room. That can make each date feel specific to the venue, audience, and performers on the bill.

Because the show plays both comedy clubs and theaters, the audience experience can range from intimate and close-up to a larger performing-arts environment. In either setting, the appeal is the same: multiple voices in one night, sharp stand-up built from lived experience, and a showcase that puts veteran women comedians front and center.

How Much Do Tickets to Funny Women of a Certain Age Cost?

Funny Women Of A Certain Age tickets typically range from around $25 to $30 and up for smaller, limited-view, rear club, and standard theater seats to higher prices for premium seating and larger theater dates, with premium seating options available at select tour stops.

Prices can shift based on venue size and market, the featured lineup for a given date, weekend versus weeknight scheduling, and seat location within the room. Funny Women of a Certain Age Seating Guide

Funny Women Of A Certain Age plays a mix of comedy clubs and theaters, so the best seat depends on the venue layout for your chosen date. Because the show is driven by timing, storytelling, and multiple stand-up sets, clear sound and a comfortable view of the stage both matter.

Best Seats for a Funny Women of a Certain Age Show

The right seat depends on what kind of show experience you're after:

• Best value: Rear club seats, balcony seats, and upper theater sections — stand-up is an audio-first experience, and a well-mixed room can carry the timing and punchlines clearly at a more accessible price.
• Closest to the performers: Front club tables, orchestra rows, and floor-level theater seats — these put you nearest the stage and make the facial expressions, pauses, and in-room reactions feel more immediate.
• Best overall experience: Mid-room club seats, center orchestra, or lower mezzanine sections — these often balance sightline, sound, proximity, and crowd energy for a strong all-around comedy experience.
• For groups: Coordinate a block of seats together early, especially in smaller club rooms or popular theater sections where contiguous seats can sell through quickly.

Can I See Where My Seats Are?

Yes. The interactive seat map on BoxOfficeTicketSales.com shows your exact section and row placement before you buy. Use it to understand your position in the venue, your distance from the stage, and whether you're on the floor, in a lower section, or in the upper level — so the tickets you choose match exactly what you're looking for on show night.

Getting Ready for Show Night

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation makes the evening run smoother from arrival through the final punchline.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Cell service around theaters and arenas gets congested on event nights. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before heading out so you're ready at the door.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard at most comedy venues. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening, especially if you're combining the show with dinner beforehand.
• Arrive at least 30 minutes before showtime. Comedy shows tend to start on or close to the listed time, and lines build quickly for popular dates.
• Check the venue's phone and recording policy. Many stand-up shows ask audiences not to record during the performance.
• Know what to expect content-wise. Funny Women Of A Certain Age is adult-oriented, with mature language and themes consistent with candid stand-up comedy. If you're attending with guests who have only seen clips or have not watched the specials, a quick preview helps everyone arrive with the right expectations.
