How Much Do Tickets to Southern Raceway Cost?

Southern Raceway ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the featured racing classes, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from weekly Saturday racing to special racing events.

For weekly Saturday racing, general admission pricing is typically modest by live-event standards, often falling in the low-to-mid double digits per adult. These events are centered on the regular short-track racing program and the season-long points competition across multiple car classes.

Special racing events can run higher depending on the program, the featured classes, and the overall demand for that date. Events with added attention or stronger regional interest can draw more demand than a standard weekly race night.

Buying earlier generally gives you more available ticket options. As the event date approaches and inventory changes, the best-value listings can move quickly, especially for special events or popular race nights during the season.

• Best overall experience: Grandstand areas with a broad look at the track — a strong choice for following the full racing line, watching restarts develop, and seeing multiple classes compete across the program.

Getting Ready for Your Southern Raceway Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at an open-air dirt-track venue like this.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the gate without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Gates open around 4:30 PM on race days, and arriving early helps with parking and grandstand seating before the racing program gets underway.
• Wear the right footwear. Southern Raceway is an outdoor dirt-track facility, so expect dirt, dust, and uneven ground. Closed, comfortable footwear is advisable.
• Dress in layers. The venue is open-air and subject to Florida Panhandle weather. Heat and humidity are common during the season, while evening races can cool down, so dress for the conditions and changing weather.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
