• Best value: General admission grandstand seating is typical for community ballparks of this type, offering a straightforward way to enjoy the game from within the main seating area.
• Closest to the action: Seats nearer the front of the grandstand put fans closest to the field and the pace of the game.
• Best overall experience: Mid-grandstand seating can provide a comfortable balance of field view, crowd atmosphere, and easy movement around the ballpark.
• General admission: When general admission seating is used, arriving early can help you choose a preferred spot in the grandstand.

Getting Ready for Your Shepherd Stadium Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at an outdoor ballpark where parking, weather, and seating arrival can shape the experience.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the gate without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Arrive early to secure parking and grandstand seating, especially because access is primarily by car.
• Wear the right footwear. Shepherd Stadium is an outdoor ballpark with grandstand steps and grass or ground-level surfaces, so comfortable footwear is advisable.
• Dress in layers. As an open-air venue, Shepherd Stadium is exposed to sun, heat, and rain during the spring–summer baseball season. Dress for the weather and bring sun protection or layers for evening games.
• Build extra time into your transit plan. Since most guests arrive by car, giving yourself extra time helps with parking and settling into the grandstand before first pitch.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
