About Saxe Theater - Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

Saxe Theater is an intimate theater located at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino inside the Miracle Mile Shops on the Las Vegas Strip. The showroom holds approximately 450 guests in a close-quarters theater configuration, giving audiences a more compact and stage-focused experience than larger Strip entertainment rooms. The theater has historically been associated with producer David Saxe and Saxe Entertainment.

The venue is known for resident Las Vegas productions, including comedy, magic and illusion shows, variety-style entertainment, and adult-oriented revues. Its location inside a major Strip shopping and casino complex makes it easy to combine a show with dining, drinks, shopping, and a broader night out in central Las Vegas.

Saxe Theater is best known as a smaller Las Vegas Strip showroom where the seating layout keeps guests close to the performers and oriented directly toward the stage.

Location & Transportation

Saxe Theater - Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is located at 3667 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109 — inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the central Las Vegas Strip.

Transit: The venue sits in one of the most walkable sections of the Strip. The Las Vegas Monorail’s Bally’s/Paris station is nearby, and numerous RTC bus routes along Las Vegas Boulevard, including the Deuce, serve the area. Walking along the Strip and using pedestrian bridges is often the most practical way to reach Planet Hollywood and the Miracle Mile Shops.

Driving and Parking: Self-parking and valet are available at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, with additional parking at adjacent Strip resorts. Las Vegas Boulevard traffic is heavy, especially during evenings and weekends, so arriving early gives you more time for parking, walking through the resort, and reaching the theater before showtime.

Rideshare: Uber and Lyft operate throughout the Strip, and Planet Hollywood has designated rideshare pickup and drop-off areas. After the show, waits can be longer during peak periods because of Strip congestion and high rideshare demand.

Nearby Accommodation: Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino offers on-site lodging, which is the easiest option for direct access to the theater. Other major hotels within walking distance include Paris Las Vegas, Bally’s/Horseshoe, Cosmopolitan, Aria, Bellagio, and MGM Grand.

Venue Navigation

Saxe Theater is a compact theater inside the Miracle Mile Shops, so the key to a smooth arrival is understanding that guests access the venue through the shopping complex within Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Planning your route through the resort before showtime helps reduce last-minute walking and wayfinding time.

Entrances and Access: Guests typically enter through Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and continue into the Miracle Mile Shops to reach the theater. The venue is accessed from within the resort and shopping complex rather than from a separate street-facing entrance.

Seating Levels: The theater uses a single intimate seating area oriented toward the stage. Sections are arranged in close proximity to the performance, with front-row and near-stage seats closest to the performers and rear or side sections set farther back in the showroom.

Accessibility: Accessible seating is available, and the surrounding Miracle Mile Shops and Planet Hollywood complex are ADA accessible with elevators and accessible restrooms.

Getting to Your Section: Staff and signage within the Miracle Mile Shops help guide guests to the theater entrance. Because reaching the showroom can involve walking through the resort and shopping complex, giving yourself extra time before curtain is the best way to arrive relaxed.

Dining Options

Outside the Venue — Las Vegas Strip

The Miracle Mile Shops and Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino offer numerous restaurants, bars, and quick-service options close to the theater. The wider central Strip also has extensive dining within walking distance, making it easy to plan dinner, drinks, or a quick bite before or after a show.

Security & Policies

Saxe Theater - Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino maintains security and venue policies that are updated regularly and may vary by event. Before attending, reviewing the current policy on the venue's official website is strongly recommended.

Bag Policy: Bag size restrictions and security screening are typical at Las Vegas Strip showrooms. Large bags may be prohibited, and arriving with a smaller, compliant bag can help keep entry moving smoothly.

Commonly Prohibited Items: Weapons, outside food and drink, and professional recording equipment are commonly restricted. Items that create a safety concern or interfere with the performance experience can also be restricted by the venue.

Entry Procedures: Guests should expect ticket verification at entry, with digital or printed tickets scanned before admission. Security screening is consistent with Strip venue standards, and having tickets ready before reaching the entrance can speed up the process.

How Much Do Tickets to Saxe Theater - Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Cost?

For resident comedy, magic, and variety shows, tickets typically run about $40–$90 for general seating. Pricing can shift based on the production, day of week, and how close the seats are to the stage.

Getting Ready for Your Saxe Theater - Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at a Strip resort venue where parking, walking time, and evening crowds can affect arrival.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Mobile service on the Strip can be congested during peak evening hours. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the entrance without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Give yourself time for Strip traffic, parking, and the walk through the Miracle Mile Shops to the theater.
• Wear the right footwear. Reaching the theater involves walking through the Miracle Mile Shops and potentially making longer walks across the resort and Strip, so supportive shoes are a smart choice.
• Dress in layers. The venue is indoors, but Las Vegas outdoor temperatures can be extreme, especially when walking to and from parking, transit, or nearby hotels.
• Build extra time into your transit plan. Strip traffic, parking delays, and resort navigation can all add time before showtime.
• Know your entrance. Remember that the theater is accessed through the Miracle Mile Shops within Planet Hollywood, which helps you head in the right direction once you arrive.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
