About Ontario Improv

Ontario Improv is a dedicated comedy club located at 4555 Mills Circle in Ontario, California, within the Ontario Mills shopping center. Operated under the Improv comedy club brand by Levity Entertainment Group, the venue holds approximately 400 guests in a club showroom configuration, creating an intimate setting built around table seating and a single stage.

The club primarily hosts stand-up comedy, including touring national headliners, rising comics, showcases, special comedy events, and occasional themed entertainment nights. As part of the long-established Improv chain, it carries one of the best-known names in American stand-up while serving as the Inland Empire’s primary dedicated comedy showroom.

With its table-based layout, attached bar and lounge area, and close proximity between performers and the audience, Ontario Improv is known for an affordable, up-close comedy club experience inside one of Southern California’s major shopping destinations.

Location & Transportation

Ontario Improv is located at 4555 Mills Circle, Ontario, CA 91764 — inside the Ontario Mills shopping center in Southern California’s Inland Empire.

Driving and Parking: Ontario Improv is overwhelmingly a car-access venue. Ontario Mills offers extensive free surface parking surrounding the mall, and the location has easy freeway access via Interstate 10 and the I-15. Parking is generally ample and free, though arriving early still helps reduce the time spent finding the right mall entrance and walking from the lot.

Transit: Omnitrans bus routes serve the Ontario Mills area, but public transit is limited for most visitors. Driving or rideshare is usually the most practical way to reach the club.

Rideshare: Rideshare drop-off and pickup are straightforward within the Ontario Mills complex. Use the mall’s drive aisles near the club entrance, and allow a little extra time after popular shows when other mall and event traffic may be moving through the same area.

Nearby Accommodation: Numerous hotels cluster around Ontario Mills and nearby Ontario International Airport, giving visitors convenient lodging options within a short drive of the comedy club.

Venue Navigation

Ontario Improv is a single-level comedy showroom, so navigating the venue is simple once you are inside the Ontario Mills complex. The most important planning point is locating the club entrance within the large mall property and arriving early enough to be seated before showtime.

Entrances and Access: Entry is from the Ontario Mills shopping center, and the club has its own entrance within the mall complex. Guests are generally checked in at the door before being seated by staff.

Seating Levels: The showroom is arranged on one level with table and theater-style seating oriented toward the stage. Seating includes front tables close to the performers, center and side tables through the main room, rear seating, and an attached bar/lounge area.

Accessibility: Accessible seating is typically available, and the ground-level mall setting places accessible parking nearby. Guests needing ADA accommodations should contact the venue in advance so staff can assist with seating needs.

Getting to Your Section: Staff seat guests upon entry, and many general-admission shows are seated on a first-come basis. Arriving early improves seat position and gives your party more time to settle in, order food or drinks, and get ready for the show.

Dining Options

Inside Ontario Improv

Ontario Improv offers full bar service and a food and drink menu inside the showroom. Table service is available during performances, and typical comedy club practice includes a two-item minimum purchase per guest. Ordering before the show gets busy is a smart move, especially for weekend headliners when the room fills quickly.

Outside the Venue — Ontario Mills

Ontario Mills has extensive dining options in and around the shopping center, including chain restaurants, sit-down restaurants, and mall dining areas throughout the surrounding retail district. Because the club is located inside the mall complex, it is easy to make dinner part of the same visit before heading into the showroom.

Security & Policies

Ontario Improv maintains security and venue policies that are updated regularly and may vary by event. Before attending, reviewing the current policy on the venue's official website is strongly recommended.

Bag Policy: Ontario Improv generally follows standard club entry procedures. Large bags may be subject to inspection, and bag rules can vary by event.

Commonly Prohibited Items: Outside food and drink, weapons, and recording equipment are typically prohibited. Phones should be kept silent during performances, and no-recording rules are commonly enforced during comedy shows.

Entry Procedures: Guests should expect digital ticket verification at the door, followed by check-in and staff seating. Age minimums, commonly 21+ or 18+ depending on the show, may apply. Arriving with tickets ready on your phone helps speed up entry.

How Much Do Tickets to Ontario Improv Cost?

Ontario Improv ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the headlining comedian, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from rising comic showcases to touring national headliners.

For rising local comics and showcase events, tickets can start as low as approximately $15–$25. These shows are often a strong value for comedy fans who want to discover new performers in an intimate room.

For touring national headliners, tickets typically run about $25–$50 or more. Prices can climb for higher-demand comedians, weekend showtimes, and preferred table locations. The venue’s standard two-item minimum per guest is also part of the overall night-out budget.

Popular headliners and weekend shows can sell out in advance. Buying earlier generally secures better seat options and stronger availability, while waiting until closer to showtime can leave fewer listings and higher prices for the best remaining tables.

Ontario Improv Seating Guide

Ontario Improv has a compact, single-level showroom layout with tables arranged in tiers facing the stage. Because many shows use general admission with staff-assigned seating, arriving early can make a meaningful difference in where your party is placed.

Best Seats at Ontario Improv

• Best value: Rear and side tables are typically the most affordable, while still keeping you inside a small showroom where the stage remains the focal point.
• Closest to the action: Front-row tables directly facing the stage put you nearest the performers and create the most immediate comedy club experience.
• Best overall experience: Center tables a few rows back offer strong sightlines while staying outside the most direct crowd-work range.
• Premium and group options: Front and center tables and group reservations are popular for guests who want a more central position or need table-based seating for a party.
• General admission: Many Ontario Improv shows are general admission with staff-assigned seating, while some events offer reserved or VIP seating.

The map lets you compare sections side by side, check row depth and distance from the stage, and see real-time pricing for what's currently available — all before committing to a purchase.

Can I See Where My Seats Are?

Yes. The interactive seat map on BoxOfficeTicketSales.com shows your exact section and row placement before you buy. Use it to understand your position in the venue, your distance from the stage, and whether you're at front tables, center tables a few rows back, or near the rear and bar area — so the tickets you choose match exactly what you're looking for on event night.

Getting Ready for Your Ontario Improv Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at a comedy club inside the large Ontario Mills shopping center.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the entrance without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Doors typically open well before showtime, such as 6:00 PM doors for a 7:30 PM show, and early arrival improves seating for general-admission shows.
• Build extra time into your transit plan. Ontario Mills is a large shopping center, so allow time to park, walk from the surface lots, find the club entrance, and get seated before the performance begins.
• Know your entrance. Locate the club entrance within Ontario Mills before you arrive; a quick look at your event details and the mall layout can save time once you are on-site.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
