About Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex

Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex, officially the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex, opened in 2000 and is owned and operated by Hofstra University. Located at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, the arena seats approximately 5,000 for basketball and functions as a multi-purpose indoor facility for athletics, exhibitions, and campus events.

The Mack is the home court for Hofstra Pride Men’s Basketball, Hofstra Pride Women’s Basketball, and Hofstra Pride Women’s Volleyball, all NCAA Division I programs in the Coastal Athletic Association. Its event mix includes college basketball, college volleyball, other indoor collegiate athletics, exhibitions, campus events, and commencement or convocation-style gatherings, along with neutral-site and visiting-team events such as Iona Gaels basketball events.

How Much Do Tickets to Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex Cost?

Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the opponent, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from low-cost college volleyball and collegiate events to marquee Hofstra Pride basketball matchups.

For Hofstra Pride college basketball, tickets are commonly around $10–$40, with premium seats or marquee matchups running higher. Opponent, conference status, seat location, and overall demand can all affect the final price.

For college volleyball and other collegiate events, admission is often low-cost or free, and ticketed events are typically under $15. Prices can still vary by event type and seat availability.

Buying earlier generally provides better seat selection for higher-demand games. As inventory shrinks and the event date approaches, the best remaining seats can become harder to find, especially for popular matchups.
