About HB Social Club

HB Social Club is a multi-purpose venue located at 1680 Kapiolani Boulevard in Honolulu, Hawaii. Also known as Hawaiian Brian’s or HB, it operates in the Kakaako/Kapiolani area as an indoor entertainment complex spanning roughly 21,000 square feet. Its format is built around multiple event spaces, giving the venue flexibility for live music, dance nights, social events, and games-oriented programming.

The venue is regarded as one of Honolulu’s signature live-music and nightlife destinations, with a history tied to the longtime Hawaiian Brian’s name before its rebrand to HB Social Club. Its event mix includes live music across genres, touring and local DJ events, dance nights, poetry and spoken-word programming, and bar/social activities such as billiards and darts. Because the venue has multiple rooms, different types of events can run in the complex on the same night.

HB Social Club is known for blending a nightclub, live-music venue, and social/games hall into one Honolulu entertainment destination.

Location & Transportation

HB Social Club is located at 1680 Kapiolani Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96814 — in the Kakaako district along the Kapiolani/Kakaako corridor near Honolulu’s urban core.

Driving and Parking: Driving is the most common way to reach HB Social Club. An on-site or adjacent parking garage is available, and guests typically park in the garage before walking across to the venue entrance. For popular shows, the garage can become congested, so arriving early helps reduce delays before entry.

Transit: The venue is served by TheBus routes running along the Kapiolani/Kapahulu corridor. Because HB Social Club sits near Honolulu’s urban core, bus access is practical for city-based attendees heading to events along Kapiolani Boulevard.

Rideshare: Uber and Lyft operate widely across Honolulu and are practical options for drop-off and pickup. Expect some post-event congestion around the entrance and garage during busy shows, especially after headline sets or high-attendance club nights.

Nearby Accommodation: Out-of-town guests will find abundant lodging in the Ala Moana and Waikiki areas. Both are a short drive from HB Social Club and offer convenient access for visitors planning a night out in Honolulu.

Venue Navigation

HB Social Club is a multi-room indoor venue, so understanding the layout before arrival helps you move efficiently between entry, the bar/nightlife areas, and the event room for your show. Its club-style setup is flexible, with programming spread across distinct spaces rather than a single fixed seating bowl.

Entrances and Access: The main entrance is reached by walking across the parking garage to the venue entrance. A back entrance also exists, though it can experience congestion during shows, so allowing extra time is useful on busy event nights.

Concourse Levels: HB Social Club is organized as a multi-room complex with several distinct event spaces. The venue’s layout supports live music, DJ/dance events, poetry programming, billiards, darts, and social gatherings in a flexible indoor format.

Dining Options

Inside HB Social Club

HB Social Club operates as a bar and nightlife venue with alcohol service. Because many events follow a club/live-music format, planning around showtime and peak bar demand can make the night smoother, especially for popular concerts and DJ events.

Outside the Venue — Kakaako/Kapiolani

HB Social Club sits in the Kakaako/Kapiolani corridor, with extensive dining nearby. The Ala Moana area and the broader Kakaako restaurant and bar scene are both within a short distance, giving guests multiple options for food or drinks before heading to the venue.

Security & Policies

HB Social Club maintains security and venue policies that are updated regularly and may vary by event. Before attending, reviewing the current policy on the venue's official website is strongly recommended.

Entry Procedures: Expect ticket verification at entry. Because many HB Social Club events follow an 18+ or 21+ nightlife format, valid ID may be required. Arriving with your digital tickets ready and your ID accessible helps speed up the entrance process.

How Much Do Tickets to HB Social Club Cost?

HB Social Club ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the artist, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from local live-music nights to touring DJs and headline acts.

Local and smaller live-music shows, club nights, poetry events, and social programming at HB Social Club are typically lower-priced and often start modestly. These events can offer accessible entry for fans who want a casual night out in a Honolulu club setting.

Touring DJs and headline acts are usually priced in a mid-range tier, with costs scaling higher for high-demand names. Artist popularity, event type, demand, and day of week all influence what listings look like as the event approaches.

For high-demand touring acts, buying earlier generally secures better pricing and availability. As inventory shrinks and the date gets closer, the strongest remaining options can become more expensive, especially for popular weekend nights and headline performances.

HB Social Club Seating Guide

HB Social Club primarily uses a general-admission club and live-music format, with multiple event rooms instead of fixed numbered sections. For most events, your experience depends on the room setup, your arrival time, and where you choose to stand in relation to the stage.

Best Seats at HB Social Club

• Best value: General-admission access — A flexible club format can be a strong value for fans who want to experience the show atmosphere without choosing a fixed seat.
• Closest to the action: Standing closer to the stage — For live-music and DJ events, arriving early can help you get nearer to the performance area.
• Best overall experience: A balanced spot within the room — Many attendees prefer a position with a clear view of the stage while still leaving room to move, socialize, and access the bar areas.
• General admission: General admission is typical for HB Social Club’s live-music and club events, giving guests festival-style flexibility within the event room.

You can view an interactive seating map for HB Social Club events directly on BoxOfficeTicketSales.com while browsing available listings. The map lets you compare sections side by side, check row depth and distance from the stage, and see real-time pricing for what's currently available — all before committing to a purchase.

Can I See Where My Seats Are?

Yes. The interactive seat map on BoxOfficeTicketSales.com shows your exact section and row placement before you buy. Use it to understand your position in the venue, your distance from the stage, and whether you're in a general-admission event room, closer to the stage, or farther back in the crowd — so the tickets you choose match exactly what you're looking for on event night.

Getting Ready for Your HB Social Club Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical steps make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at a multi-room Honolulu nightlife venue where popular shows can create garage and entrance congestion.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the entrance without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Popular shows can create congestion in the garage and at the back entrance, so give yourself extra time before the event starts.
• Wear the right footwear. Access involves walking across the parking garage to reach the entrance, so choose shoes that are comfortable for walking and standing during a club-format event.
• Build extra time into your transit plan. For busy shows, the parking garage and entrance areas can slow down as crowds arrive, making an early arrival the easiest way to reduce stress.
• Know your entrance. The main entrance is reached by crossing the garage to the venue, while the back entrance can get congested during shows.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
