About Duling Hall

Duling Hall is a theater and music hall located at 622 Duling Avenue in Jackson, Mississippi. The venue is housed in the former Duling School building, an early-20th-century structure that was later restored and reopened as a live-music venue in 2012. With a flexible capacity of approximately 500 to 700 guests depending on whether an event is seated or standing general admission, it offers an intimate setting in the Fondren district.

The hall hosts a steady calendar of touring and regional acts across genres, including indie, rock, Americana, folk, jam, and singer-songwriter performers. It also welcomes comedy, private events, and special occasions, making it an anchor for Fondren’s arts and nightlife scene. Operated in association with Fondren-area hospitality interests and programmed in partnership with local concert promoters, Duling Hall is valued for its historic character and up-close concert environment.

The venue retains architectural character from its school-auditorium origins while functioning as a modern, flexible event space where the audience is never far from the stage.

How Much Do Tickets to Duling Hall Cost?

Duling Hall ticket prices vary widely depending on the type of event, the artist, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from regional and local acts to high-demand headliners.

For regional, local, and smaller shows, tickets can start as low as approximately $15 to $25, depending on the act, night of the week, and available inventory.

For mid-tier touring concerts, Duling Hall tickets typically fall around $25 to $50. These shows can move quickly in an intimate room, especially when the artist has a strong regional following.

For high-demand headliners, tickets can reach approximately $50 or more. Artist popularity, seated versus general-admission configuration, and overall demand all influence the final price.

Popular shows at this intimate room can sell out, so buying earlier helps secure tickets before capacity fills. As inventory shrinks and the event date approaches, the best remaining options can become more expensive.

• Best overall experience: Front-of-house areas provide some of the best sightlines, balancing proximity to the stage with a clear view of the performance.

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at an intimate Fondren venue where parking and general-admission positioning can matter.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the entrance without needing a signal.
