About Delray Beach Tennis Center

Delray Beach Tennis Center is a City of Delray Beach-owned tennis stadium and outdoor event complex located at 201 W. Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida. The facility opened in 1993, with its stadium court developed to host professional tennis in the mid-1990s. Its main stadium seats approximately 8,200 for featured events, and a secondary grandstand court adds additional capacity during tournament play.

The venue is best known as the home of the Delray Beach Open, a long-running ATP Tour professional tennis tournament that brings top players and well-known veterans to South Florida each winter. It has also hosted an ATP Champions Tour exhibition component featuring former Grand Slam champions, along with concerts, festivals, community events, and recreational tennis programming.

With its open-air stadium court, downtown Atlantic Avenue location, and relatively intimate scale compared with larger tour venues, Delray Beach Tennis Center is a centerpiece of Delray Beach's sports and entertainment scene.

How Much Do Tickets to Delray Beach Tennis Center Cost?

Delray Beach Tennis Center ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the player draw, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from early-round grounds tennis sessions to finals and marquee tournament sessions.

Early-round and grounds tennis sessions can start low, often around $20–$40, especially for access-focused options during earlier days of the tournament.

Featured and evening Delray Beach Open sessions are typically mid-range, roughly $40–$100+, with pricing shaped by seat location, day-versus-evening timing, and the player draw.

Finals and marquee sessions can reach $100 or more depending on seat location and demand, with the strongest demand tied to later rounds, recognizable players, and premium views close to the court.

Buying earlier generally secures better seat selection and pricing for the most in-demand sessions. As inventory shrinks and the event date approaches, prices for the best remaining sections can rise, especially for featured sessions and finals.

Getting Ready for Your Delray Beach Tennis Center Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at an outdoor venue on Atlantic Avenue where parking, weather, and tournament-session timing all matter.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the gate without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Downtown Delray Beach parking and Atlantic Avenue traffic fill quickly during peak times, so give yourself extra time before tournament sessions.
• Wear the right footwear. The open-air stadium includes stadium steps, so comfortable footwear is advisable for moving between entry, seating, concessions, and nearby downtown stops.
• Dress in layers. South Florida day sessions can bring sun, heat, humidity, and the possibility of brief rain, while winter evenings can feel cooler. Sun protection is a smart part of your plan.
• Build extra time into your transit plan. Busy Atlantic Avenue evenings and tournament crowds can slow arrivals and post-session departures.
• Know your entrance. The compact footprint makes navigation straightforward, and knowing your session and seating area before arrival helps you move through entry faster during the tournament.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
