About Colisee Desjardins

Colisée Desjardins is an indoor arena in Victoriaville, Quebec, located at 400 Boulevard Jutras Est. The arena holds approximately 3,000 fans for hockey and serves as the primary ice-hockey venue in the city. Its scale gives it the close, energetic feel typical of major junior hockey buildings, where fans can stay connected to the play from nearly anywhere in the bowl.

The venue is the longtime home of the Victoriaville Tigres of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League, also known as the QMJHL or LHJMQ. Tigres games are the arena’s headline events, with the junior hockey season running roughly from September through spring, including the regular season and potential playoff dates. The arena also serves as a general community events and spectator venue for Victoriaville.

Colisée Desjardins is best known as the home rink of the Victoriaville Tigres and as a local gathering place for junior hockey in central Quebec.

Security & Policies

Colisee Desjardins maintains security and venue policies that are updated regularly and may vary by event. Before attending, reviewing the current policy on the venue's official website is strongly recommended.

How Much Do Tickets to Colisee Desjardins Cost?

Colisee Desjardins ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the team, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from regular-season Victoriaville Tigres games to playoff or marquee QMJHL matchups.

For Victoriaville Tigres hockey, tickets can start around $46, with an average price around $52. Matchup, seat location, and demand all affect the final price, with glass seats, center-ice locations, playoff games, and marquee dates typically drawing stronger interest than upper-row or end-zone seating.

Buying earlier generally gives you better seat selection for high-demand matchups. Season tickets and single-game tickets are sold in advance, and as inventory tightens closer to game day, the best remaining seating options can become harder to find.

Colisee Desjardins Seating Guide

Colisee Desjardins uses a single-bowl arena layout surrounding the ice, which makes seat location especially important for choosing between full-rink sightlines, up-close glass views, and group-friendly premium options.

Best Seats at Colisee Desjardins

• Best value: General seating in the upper rows and at the ends of the rink is typically the most affordable option, while still keeping fans inside the compact arena atmosphere.
• Closest to the action: Lower rows directly along the glass and near the goals, including seating by the goal judge, provide the closest views of the pace, hits, saves, and net-front play.
• Best overall experience: Center-ice seats along the sides offer the strongest all-around sightlines, giving fans a balanced view of the full ice surface and both attacking zones.
• Premium and suite options: Corporate loges and suites at Colisée Desjardins are available for enhanced hospitality, privacy, and group outings.
• For groups: Coordinating seats early is helpful for popular Tigres games, especially when you want adjacent seats together in the same area of the bowl.

Getting Ready for Your Colisee Desjardins Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at an indoor ice arena where parking, timing, and rink temperatures all matter.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the entrance without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Arrive with time to park on-site and reach your seats before puck drop.
• Dress in layers. As an indoor ice arena, the seating areas near the rink can feel cool. A light layer makes the game more comfortable.
• Build extra time into your arrival plan. Most attendees arrive by car, so giving yourself extra time for parking and entry helps the night start smoothly.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
