About Assiniboine Credit Union Place

Assiniboine Credit Union Place is an indoor arena located within the Keystone Centre complex in Brandon, Manitoba. The Keystone Centre dates to the 1970s, and the arena has carried several naming-rights identities over the years, including Westman Communications Group Place. Operated as part of the Keystone Centre complex, the arena holds approximately 5,000 fans for hockey, with capacity adjusting for concerts and other event configurations.

The arena is home to the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League, making it a long-standing major junior hockey venue in western Manitoba. Beyond hockey, Assiniboine Credit Union Place hosts concerts, family and children’s entertainment shows such as Sesame Street Live!, community events, and regional programming connected to the broader Keystone Centre grounds.

Its distinctive character comes from its place inside a sprawling multi-building complex that also includes agricultural and exhibition facilities, making the venue a regional hub for sports, concerts, trade shows, and agricultural events.

How Much Do Tickets to Assiniboine Credit Union Place Cost?

Assiniboine Credit Union Place ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the artist or team, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from Brandon Wheat Kings junior hockey to concerts and touring family shows.

Brandon Wheat Kings hockey tickets are typically modest and sit in the lower price range common to junior hockey. Seat location, opponent or matchup, and demand can influence pricing, with lower-bowl seats nearest the ice usually carrying stronger demand than seats farther from the action.

Concerts and family shows generally vary by act and production, with many events falling into a mid-range pricing pattern. Headliner concerts and popular touring family entertainment can move higher depending on demand, seating location, and the number of available tickets remaining.

Buying earlier generally provides better seat selection for high-demand events and headliner shows. As inventory shrinks and the date approaches, the best remaining sections can become more competitive, especially for popular concerts, family events, and major hockey dates.
