Location & Transportation

Aaron Bessant Park is located at 500 W Park Pl Ave, Panama City Beach, FL 32413 — adjacent to Pier Park and steps from the beach on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Driving and Parking: Most attendees arrive by car. Pier Park offers extensive surrounding parking lots serving the shopping, dining, and entertainment district, and additional park and street parking is available nearby. Lots fill during large festivals and holiday events, so arriving early is the best way to give yourself more parking options and a smoother walk to the venue.

Transit: Panama City Beach has limited public transit. Bay Town Trolley provides some local bus service in the area, but transit is not the primary way most guests reach Aaron Bessant Park.

Rideshare: Uber and Lyft operate in Panama City Beach, and drop-off or pickup near Pier Park is practical for most events. After large gatherings such as Fourth of July events and New Year’s Eve celebrations, expect congestion and longer wait times as crowds leave the area.

Nearby Accommodation: Panama City Beach offers abundant lodging, including beachfront hotels, resorts, and vacation rentals along Front Beach Road and near Pier Park. Staying near Pier Park places visitors within easy reach of Aaron Bessant Park and the surrounding dining and entertainment district.

Venue Navigation

Aaron Bessant Park is an open outdoor venue centered around a lawn amphitheater facing the stage. Understanding the lawn layout, entry pattern, and surrounding Pier Park access points can make arrival easier, especially during ticketed concerts, festivals, and holiday celebrations.

Entrances and Access: The park has open access from the surrounding Pier Park area and adjacent streets. For ticketed or gated events, entry points are set up for event access, ticket verification, and crowd flow.

Seating Levels: Seating is primarily an open, sloped grassy lawn facing the stage, with no fixed tiered concourses. For most events, attendees choose a spot on the lawn based on how close they want to be to the stage and how much space they want around them.

Accessibility: Aaron Bessant Park is described as an accessible outdoor venue, with accessible pathways and viewing areas available for events.

Getting to Your Section: Most seating is open lawn, so guests typically settle on the grass facing the stage. A blanket or low lawn chair is common where permitted, and comfortable footwear helps on the sloped grass surface.

Security & Policies

Aaron Bessant Park maintains security and venue policies that are updated regularly and may vary by event. Before attending, reviewing the current policy on the venue's official website is strongly recommended.

How Much Do Tickets to Aaron Bessant Park Cost?

Aaron Bessant Park ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the artist or lineup, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from free community holiday celebrations to ticketed concerts and music festivals.

Free community events at Aaron Bessant Park, including holiday celebrations and public festivals, can offer free admission, creating an accessible way to experience the park’s outdoor event atmosphere.

Ticketed concerts and music festivals vary by artist, event, lineup, and package type. Demand can rise for headlining artists, marquee festival dates, and events that include reserved or VIP-style options.

For ticketed festivals and concerts, buying earlier generally secures better pricing and availability, particularly for high-demand events. As inventory shrinks and the event date approaches, the best remaining options can become more limited.

Aaron Bessant Park Seating Guide

Aaron Bessant Park uses a lawn-style amphitheater layout, with a grassy slope facing the stage. Because most events are general-admission lawn experiences, your seat choice is really about finding the right balance of proximity, view, comfort, and space.

Best Seats at Aaron Bessant Park

• Best value: Lawn areas farther from the stage typically offer the most affordable or free access for general events, while still keeping you within the shared festival and concert atmosphere.
• Closest to the action: The front of the lawn directly facing the stage gives you maximum proximity to the performance.
• Best overall experience: Central lawn positions partway down the slope offer clear stage sightlines while remaining comfortable for longer events.
• General admission: General-admission lawn seating is the standard format, giving guests festival-style flexibility to choose a spot on the grass facing the stage.

Getting Ready for Your Aaron Bessant Park Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at an outdoor Gulf Coast venue with lawn seating and large seasonal crowds.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Cell service may be congested during large festivals and holiday events. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the gate without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Pier Park parking and surrounding roads can become congested during holiday celebrations and large concerts, so give yourself extra time for parking, walking, entry, and security.
• Wear the right footwear. The venue’s grassy, sloped lawn terrain can be uneven or soft after rain, so comfortable, flat footwear is advisable.
• Dress in layers. Aaron Bessant Park is fully outdoors and exposed to Gulf Coast sun, heat, humidity, and occasional rain. Bring sun protection, water, and a rain plan based on the season.
• Build extra time into your transit plan. Major events can create congestion around Pier Park, especially when large crowds arrive or leave at the same time.
• Know your entrance. For gated ticketed events, checking the designated entry point near Pier Park before you arrive helps you avoid delays.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
