This page covers everything you need — from understanding how Galleri Classic works to finding the right tickets and knowing what to expect when you arrive.

About Galleri Classic

The Galleri Classic is an annual professional golf tournament on PGA Tour Champions, typically held in late March at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California (the Palm Springs/Coachella Valley area). First played in 2023, the event brought senior professional golf to the Coachella Valley at the storied Dinah Shore Tournament Course, a venue long associated with major-championship history in women’s golf.

The tournament is played as 54-hole stroke play across three rounds with a field of approximately 78–81 players (professionals age 50 and over). There is no cut, so every player competes throughout the week, and ties for the lead after 54 holes are decided by a sudden-death playoff. With a multi-million-dollar purse typical of PGA Tour Champions events (roughly $2 million+), players are also competing for points toward the Charles Schwab Cup, the season-long points competition on PGA Tour Champions.

PGA Tour Champions fields regularly feature major champions and veteran stars, and the Galleri Classic follows that tradition with recognizable names. Steve Stricker won the inaugural 2023 Galleri Classic, and fans can expect a lineup in the mold of top Champions Tour competitors such as Ernie Els, Steve Stricker, Bernhard Langer, Stewart Cink, Padraig Harrington, and Retief Goosen. Add in the desert resort setting at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains and the iconic closing holes highlighted by the water around the 18th green, and it’s a memorable in-person tournament day. If you’re planning to attend Galleri Classic, browsing tickets early is the smartest move.

How Much Do Galleri Classic Tickets Cost?

Galleri Classic tickets typically range from around $20 to $40 for daily grounds admission to a few hundred dollars or more for hospitality and premium club access, with premium packages running higher. Weekly/tournament passes and multi-day packages are also commonly available.

A few factors tend to influence pricing. Weekend competition rounds typically cost more than practice or pro-am days, and hospitality and clubhouse access carry a premium. Pricing can also shift based on proximity to the event date and the strength of the headlining field, especially when the Charles Schwab Cup storyline brings extra attention.

No hidden fees. At Box Office Ticket Sales, the price you see is the price you pay. All fees are shown before checkout — no surprise charges when you reach the final step.

• Best overall view: Reserved grandstand/bleacher seating near the 18th green — a premier vantage point for the finishing stretch

Getting Ready for Galleri Classic Tournament Day

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially for a walkable desert golf event where you’ll be outside for long stretches.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Cellular service near large events can get congested on tournament days. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is the standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having.
• Arrive early. Give yourself extra time for entry and security, especially on high-demand dates.
• Public transit: The Coachella Valley is primarily car-access, with SunLine Transit Agency bus service in the area.
• Rideshare: Plan your rideshare pickup point — post-event pickups can take longer than expected.
• Bag policy: Check the bag policy before you go so there are no surprises at the entrance.
• Payment: Bring a card or mobile payment — many vendors are cashless.
• What to bring: Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), comfortable walking shoes, and warm-weather clothing appropriate for desert conditions.
