About Outdoors At Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort

Outdoors At Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort is an outdoor amphitheatre located at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort complex in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Operated by the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan as part of the resort, the venue sits behind the hotel courtyard and is built for large-scale outdoor concerts, with capacity typically ranging from approximately 7,000 to 10,000 depending on the event configuration.

The venue is regarded as a prominent outdoor concert destination in central Michigan, drawing national touring acts to the Mount Pleasant area during the warmer months. Its event calendar focuses primarily on concerts across multiple genres, including rock, country, pop, classic rock, and comedy, with the outdoor season commonly running from around Memorial Day through summer and into early fall.

Its distinctive character comes from its open-air setting within a larger resort environment, where dining, lodging, bar service, and gaming are all on-site before and after the show.

Location & Transportation

Outdoors At Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort is located at 6800 Soaring Eagle Boulevard, Mount Pleasant, MI 48858 — on the grounds of Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, with the outdoor concert area positioned behind the hotel courtyard.

Driving and Parking: The venue is car-accessible from Soaring Eagle Boulevard, and on-site resort parking is available in the large casino lots serving event guests. Arriving early is strongly advised on concert nights because lots can fill before showtime, and guests should also allow time to walk from the parking areas through the resort to the outdoor venue.

Rideshare: Rideshare drop-off and pickup are available at the resort. After the show, expect waits and congestion as concert crowds exit the same resort complex, especially for high-demand touring acts.

Nearby Accommodation: The on-site Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort hotel offers the most convenient lodging for guests attending concerts at the outdoor venue. Additional hotels are available in the Mount Pleasant area a short drive from the resort.

Venue Navigation

Outdoors At Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort is laid out as an outdoor concert venue within a larger casino resort, so understanding the route through the property helps make arrival smoother. Guests typically move from parking or the casino area through the resort and out toward the courtyard and amphitheatre grounds.

Entrances and Access: The outdoor concert area sits behind the hotel courtyard. The most direct route is to follow the path through the casino gaming floor, continue out past the courtyard, and proceed to the outdoor venue grounds.

Getting to Your Section: Allow extra time to walk from the casino and parking areas through the resort to the outdoor venue. Signage and resort staff direct guests along the path from the gaming floor, and the route can be busy as showtime approaches.

Dining Options

Inside Outdoors At Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort

Concessions are available at the outdoor venue for concerts, and the broader resort offers full bar service and multiple on-site restaurants that can be used before and after shows. Because the amphitheatre is part of the casino resort complex, many guests build dinner, drinks, or gaming into the same visit before heading out to the venue grounds.

Outside the Venue — Mount Pleasant

Security & Policies

Outdoors At Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort maintains security and venue policies that are updated regularly and may vary by event. Before attending, reviewing the current policy on the venue's official website is strongly recommended.

Bag Policy: Bag restrictions typically apply for concerts, and smaller bags are generally subject to search. Policies can vary by event, so packing lightly is the simplest way to move through entry more efficiently.

Commonly Prohibited Items: Outside food and drink, weapons, and professional recording equipment are commonly restricted. Specific prohibited-item lists can vary by event and performer.

Entry Procedures: Expect bag checks and security screening at entry, with digital ticket verification standard for concerts. Arriving with a compliant bag and pre-downloaded tickets helps speed up the process at the gate.

How Much Do Tickets to Outdoors At Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort Cost?

Outdoors At Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the artist, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from value-priced outdoor concerts to high-demand national headliners.

For concerts with smaller acts or value seating, tickets can start around $30–$60, especially for seats farther back or toward the sides of the outdoor seating area.

Mid-tier reserved concert seats are often roughly $60–$120, with pricing influenced by how close the section is to the stage and how directly it faces the performance.

High-demand headliners can reach $150 or more, particularly when artist popularity, seat location, date of the show, and overall demand push inventory higher.

Buying earlier generally provides better seat selection and pricing, especially for marquee touring acts. As inventory shrinks and the event date approaches, the best remaining seats tend to become more competitive.

Getting Ready for Your Outdoors At Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at an outdoor venue within a busy casino resort complex.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the gate without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Arrive with enough time to park, walk through the resort, and reach the outdoor venue before showtime; lots and the gaming-floor path can be congested on concert nights.
• Wear the right footwear. The venue involves outdoor grounds and a walk from the casino and parking areas through the resort, so comfortable shoes are advisable.
• Dress in layers. As an open-air amphitheatre, the venue is exposed to Michigan summer-evening temperature swings and possible rain; bring layers and check the forecast before you go.
• Build extra time into your transit plan. Concert-night arrivals can slow down around parking, the resort walk, and the path through the gaming floor, so give yourself a comfortable buffer before the opener.
• Know your entrance. The route through the casino gaming floor to the courtyard and out to the venue helps first-time guests move through the resort more confidently.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
