This page covers everything you need — from what the show is and what to expect, to finding the right seats and buying with complete confidence.

Show Information

Absinthe is an original adults-only circus, burlesque, and variety show produced by Spiegelworld, the entertainment company founded by Ross Mollison. Early incarnations of the production date back to 2006, while the Las Vegas production opened April 1, 2011, at Caesars Palace. The show is closely associated with Mollison and the Spiegelworld creative team, whose style blends daring live acts with provocative comedy and immersive theatrical staging.

The production currently runs as a resident show in The Green Fairy Garden / spiegeltent on the forecourt of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Performances are typically scheduled in the evening, commonly around 9pm and 11pm. Absinthe runs approximately 90 minutes with no intermission, creating a compact, high-energy experience from the opening moments through the finale.

Since opening in Las Vegas, Absinthe has become one of the longest-running shows on the Las Vegas Strip and remains one of Spiegelworld’s defining successes. Critics and audiences frequently rank it among the best and most popular shows in Las Vegas, praising its combination of jaw-dropping acrobatics, raunchy humor, audience interaction, and intimate staging.

Story Summary

Absinthe is an adults-only variety spectacle built around a fast-moving sequence of circus, acrobatic, burlesque, vaudeville, and comedy segments. The production is unified by its intimate spiegeltent atmosphere, irreverent tone, and the energy of a rotating cast of hosts and performers who move the evening from one outrageous moment to the next.

The experience alternates between comic interludes and breathtaking physical feats, creating a rhythm that shifts from raunchy audience interaction to precision acrobatics, strength work, aerial performance, and burlesque-inspired variety. Because the stage is set in the round and the venue places the audience extremely close to the performers, the show’s danger, comedy, and spontaneity feel immediate.

No prior knowledge is required to enjoy Absinthe. The show delivers its experience directly as a self-contained evening of comedy and spectacle for adult audiences.

Show Highlights

Absinthe is known for intimate, high-impact moments that combine physical risk, adult humor, and close-up theatrical energy.

• Aerial and Acrobatic Acts — World-class aerialists and acrobats perform death-defying feats mere feet from the audience. The spiegeltent setting makes every lift, drop, and suspended movement feel especially immediate, turning the show’s aerial work into some of its most breath-holding moments.
• The Host's Comedy — The show’s irreverent master of ceremonies drives much of Absinthe’s identity. Raunchy, improvised, boundary-pushing comedy and direct audience interaction connect the acts and keep the tone unpredictable throughout the night.
• Hand-to-Hand and Strength Acts — Pairs and troupes perform balancing, lifting, and partner-acrobatic feats that showcase raw physical power and extraordinary precision. These segments are especially striking in the intimate venue, where the audience can see the control and timing behind each movement.
• Burlesque and Variety Segments — Sensual and comedic burlesque-inspired numbers bring vaudeville tradition into Absinthe’s adult sensibility. These moments help shape the show’s distinctive blend of spectacle, humor, and late-night Las Vegas attitude.
• Finale Spectacle — Absinthe builds toward its most daring physical feats, ending the approximately 90-minute performance with a high-energy peak. The finale captures the production’s signature mix of risk, comedy, and crowd-pleasing showmanship.

Absinthe Seating Guide

Absinthe plays in an intimate in-the-round spiegeltent on the forecourt of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Where you sit shapes the experience because the stage is close to the audience, and front rows may involve direct interaction with the performers.

Best Seats for Absinthe

The best seats for Absinthe depend on whether you want maximum proximity, a wider view of the in-the-round staging, or a strong balance of value and immersion.

• Best value: upper mezzanine and rear orchestra sections — these seats can provide strong sightlines to the round stage while keeping you close enough to feel the energy of the room.
• Closest to the stage: front orchestra sections — these seats place you nearest the performers, intensifying the acrobatics, comedy, and audience interaction that define the show.
• Best overall experience: mid-orchestra and front mezzanine sections — these areas typically balance proximity with a broader view of the stage picture, making them a strong choice for first-time visitors.
• For groups: coordinate contiguous seats early, since blocks in popular sections sell through quickly for a long-running Las Vegas residency with regular evening performances.

Can I See Where My Seats Are?

Yes. The interactive seat map on BoxOfficeTicketSales.com shows your exact section and row placement before you buy. Use it to understand your angle to the stage, your distance from the front, and whether you're in the orchestra, mezzanine, or balcony — so the seats you choose match exactly what you're looking for on show night.

Getting Ready for Show Night

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation makes the full experience run smoothly from arrival through the final bow.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Cell service around Caesars Palace can be congested on busy performance nights. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before heading out so you're ready at the door without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard at most theaters. A portable battery pack is worth having, especially if you're combining the show with dinner or other activities.
• Arrive at least 30 minutes before showtime. Caesars Palace doors open well before the show begins; arriving early gives you time to find your seats and settle in before the house lights go down — and avoids the disruption of late seating, which many theaters restrict.
• Plan for a 90-minute run with no intermission. Absinthe runs approximately 90 minutes straight through, so plan restroom, concessions, and arrival timing before the performance begins.
• Know the venue's phone and photography policy. Recording and photography during the performance are not permitted, so silence your phone and keep it put away once the show starts.
• Confirm the adults-only policy before you go. Absinthe is strictly 18+ and contains explicit language, raunchy adult comedy, sexual content, and mature themes.
• Build time into your Las Vegas Strip plan. The show is staged in a spiegeltent on the forecourt of Caesars Palace, so allow extra time to navigate the property, the Strip, and pre-show crowds.
