About Encanto in Concert Live to Film

Encanto in Concert Live to Film is a touring live-to-film concert production from Disney Concerts that launched in 2022 following the late-2021 release of Disney’s Encanto. The production pairs a full screening of the animated film with a live band performance, giving audiences the story they know on screen while the music is performed in the room. Banda de la Casita serves as the central musical ensemble, performing the film’s score and songs throughout the presentation.

The show is built on the cultural reach of Encanto, whose soundtrack topped charts worldwide and whose songs became a major phenomenon with family and multi-generational audiences. “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” became the defining sing-along moment for many fans, while songs like “Surface Pressure,” “The Family Madrigal,” “Waiting on a Miracle,” and “Dos Oruguitas” helped make the soundtrack a shared favorite across children, parents, and longtime Disney fans.

Since its 2022 debut, Encanto in Concert Live to Film has continued as an active touring production, playing performing arts centers and civic auditoriums across the United States. A Fall 2023 national tour brought the production to performing arts centers across America after an earlier outdoor-venue summer run, expanding the live-to-film format into more cities and venues.

For families, groups, and fans of the film’s soundtrack, Encanto in Concert Live to Film tickets offer a chance to experience the music of Encanto with the energy of a live concert.

Why You Want to See Encanto in Concert Live to Film Live

Encanto in Concert Live to Film is designed around the power of hearing a beloved soundtrack performed live while the film unfolds on a large stage screen. The concert blends orchestral and band-based score performance with Latin-influenced contemporary pop, allowing the rhythmic detail, melodic hooks, and emotional moments of the music to fill the venue.

The live experience is especially strong because the set follows the film’s song and score sequence in order. That means the biggest musical moments arrive exactly where fans expect them: the family introduction of “The Family Madrigal,” the audience energy around “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” the emotional lift of “Waiting on a Miracle,” and the celebratory feel of “Colombia, Mi Encanto” and “All of You.”

The crowd is a major part of the atmosphere. Encanto in Concert Live to Film draws family-heavy, multi-generational audiences, and the sing-along format gives children, parents, and fans of all ages permission to join in. Many attendees dress as characters, adding to the colorful, participatory feeling of the event.

What to Expect at a Encanto in Concert Live to Film Concert

An Encanto in Concert Live to Film concert typically runs approximately the length of the movie plus an intermission, bringing the full program to roughly two hours. The production is presented as a headline live-to-film event without a separate musical opening act; the film screening with live accompaniment is the full program.

The setlist follows Encanto in order, with Banda de la Casita performing the songs and score in sync with the on-screen story. Instead of a traditional concert set built around shuffled hits, the evening moves through the film’s musical arc from beginning to end, letting each song land in its original dramatic moment.

The atmosphere is interactive and family-forward. Expect strong sing-alongs during the biggest soundtrack moments, especially “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” along with an audience that includes children, parents, and multi-generational groups experiencing the film together.

Production is centered on the large screen and the live band. In performing arts centers and civic auditoriums, the film is shown on a stage screen while the musicians perform beneath or beside it, keeping the focus split between the beloved visuals and the live soundtrack performance.

Best Seats for a Encanto in Concert Live to Film Concert

The right seat depends on what kind of show experience you're after:

• Best value: balcony, upper theater, or lawn sections at outdoor dates — these options can offer a broad view of the screen and stage while keeping the overall ticket cost more accessible for families and groups
• Closest to the stage: front-section, floor, or pit-style areas where offered — these put you nearest the live band and screen, and they can sell quickly for popular family dates
• Best overall experience: central reserved sections or mid-level pavilion seating at outdoor venues — these areas balance screen visibility, live sound, proximity, and crowd energy
• For groups: coordinating contiguous reserved seats early is important, since blocks in popular sections can disappear quickly when families and larger parties buy together

Getting Ready for Show Night

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation makes the whole evening run smoother — from the parking lot to the final encore.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Cell service around performing arts centers, civic auditoriums, and amphitheatres gets congested as show time approaches. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before heading out so you're not searching at the gate.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard at most venues, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening out.
• Arrive before the listed start time. Shows often begin at or near the listed start time — arriving on time means you're in your seat when the music starts.
• Dress for the weather at outdoor shows. Outdoor nights can run warm early and cool quickly — a light layer is worth bringing.
• Check the venue's bag policy before you go. Individual venues set their own security guidelines; reviewing them before you leave home prevents delays at the entrance.
