NFL Munich Tickets

An NFL Sunday in Munich hits different: a roaring Allianz Arena crowd, a full-stadium singalong of “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” and the intensity of a regular-season matchup where every snap matters. Whether you’ve followed the NFL’s International Series for years or you’re planning your first one, NFL Munich tickets put you inside one of the league’s most electric overseas environments.

This page covers everything you need — from understanding how NFL Munich works to finding the right tickets and knowing what to expect when you arrive.

About NFL Munich

The NFL Munich Game is a standalone NFL International Series regular-season matchup played at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, typically held in November during the NFL regular season. First staged in 2022, it marked the NFL’s first-ever regular-season game in Germany at Allianz Arena—an important step in the league’s international expansion into one of its largest and fastest-growing fan bases.

On the field, NFL Munich follows the standard NFL format: four 15-minute quarters, with overtime if tied at the end of regulation. One team is designated the “home” team (typically giving up a home game), and the result counts in the official NFL standings—meaning the outcome directly impacts division races and playoff positioning, even though there’s no separate trophy for the event itself.

The Munich debut on November 13, 2022 featured Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeating the Seattle Seahawks 21–16, and the game became instantly known for its passionate crowd and festival-like energy. The 2026 Munich game is set to feature the New England Patriots and the Detroit Lions. Allianz Arena—opened in 2005 and known for its illuminated exterior façade—adds to the spectacle, and it’s converted from a soccer venue into an NFL-standard gridiron for the game. If you’re planning to attend NFL Munich, browsing tickets early is the smartest move.

How Much Do NFL Munich Tickets Cost?

NFL Munich tickets typically range from around $120–$150 for upper-tier and end zone seating to $500+ for premium sideline and lower-tier seats, with premium packages running higher.

Pricing is driven heavily by demand—NFL Germany games have historically sold out extremely quickly—along with the matchup and star power of the teams involved. Seat location also matters (sideline vs. end zone and which tier you’re in), and prices often rise as game day gets closer. If you’re aiming for value, upper-tier and end zone options are typically where the lowest prices land, while premium sideline inventory near midfield / the 50-yard line commands the highest demand.

No hidden fees. At Box Office Ticket Sales, the price you see is the price you pay. All fees are shown before checkout — no surprise charges when you reach the final step.

NFL Munich Seating and Stadium Information

At Allianz Arena, the football experience is built around a three-tier seating bowl that wraps the full perimeter of the field, creating strong sightlines and a loud, unified crowd. With approximately 75,000 seats for American football configuration, NFL Munich offers a range of viewing options—from budget-friendly upper tiers to premium sideline seats and hospitality.

Best Ways to Experience NFL Munich

The right access depends on what kind of game day experience you're after:

• Best value: Upper-tier seating and end zone/behind-the-goal areas — typically the most affordable way to be in the building for the full atmosphere
• Closest to the action: Lower-tier seats — feel the speed and contact up close from near the field
• Best overall view: Lower- and middle-tier seats along the sidelines near midfield / the 50-yard line — ideal for tracking formations, coverages, and the flow of drives across the field
• For groups and premium experiences: Business/VIP seats, hospitality boxes, and executive suites (primarily in the middle tier along the sidelines) — added comfort and a premium setting for hosting

Use it to get a clear picture of your access, whether you're positioned "on the sidelines near midfield or in the elevated lower-tier seats along the field" — so the ticket you choose matches what you're actually looking for.

Getting Ready for NFL Munich Game Day

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially with a November NFL matchup and a stadium-scale international crowd.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Cellular service near large events can get congested on game days. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is the standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having.
• Arrive early. Gates typically open well ahead of kickoff (commonly two to three hours prior) to accommodate the large crowd and pre-game festivities; standard security screening applies.
• Public Transit: Allianz Arena is served by the Munich U-Bahn, with Fröttmaning (U6) adjacent to the stadium and providing direct access to the city center.
• Rideshare: Designated drop-off/pickup areas operate near the stadium; transit is generally faster given event-day congestion.
• Bag Policy: NFL and Allianz Arena enforce a strict limited/clear-bag policy; large bags and backpacks are prohibited, with small clear bags or small purses typically permitted. Prohibited items include weapons, outside alcohol, and glass containers.
• Bring a card or mobile payment — many vendors are cashless.
• What to bring: Your mobile ticket on a charged phone, a payment card for the cashless venue, weather-appropriate layers for a November game, and a permitted small clear bag if any.
