About Disney Princess - The Concert

Disney Princess - The Concert is an officially licensed touring concert production that debuted in 2021 in the United States and has continued across North America and international markets. The show brings together a rotating cast of acclaimed Broadway and Disney vocalists for a Broadway-style concert built around the Disney Princess songbook, with live music, storytelling, and film visuals supporting the performances.

The production was created by Benjamin Rauhala and Laura Osnes and features a rotating lineup that has included Susan Egan, who originated Belle in Broadway's Beauty and the Beast and voiced Megara in Hercules; Courtney Reed, who originated Jasmine in Broadway's Aladdin; Christy Altomare, who originated the title role in Broadway's Anastasia; Aisha Jackson, a Broadway performer with credits including Frozen and Beautiful; and Rauhala as creator, music director, and pianist. Paige O'Hara, the original voice of Belle in Disney's animated Beauty and the Beast, has also appeared in special performances.

The concert's appeal comes from the combination of recognizable Disney film music and Broadway-caliber vocals. Its setlists draw from Princess stories across eras, from Snow White and Cinderella through The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Mulan, The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Frozen, and Moana. That wide catalog makes Disney Princess - The Concert a strong draw for young fans, parents, nostalgic adults, and theater lovers.

As an active touring production, Disney Princess - The Concert continues to return seasonally with rotating casts and strong family-audience demand, especially in major metropolitan markets and around holiday or seasonal outings. For fans planning a special family night out, Disney Princess - The Concert tickets offer access to a polished live show centered on songs audiences already love.

Why You Want to See Disney Princess - The Concert Live

Disney Princess - The Concert live is built around powerhouse vocal performances. The show's cast brings trained Broadway and Disney principal vocalists to the stage, giving familiar songs the lift and emotional force of a theatrical concert setting. Ballads can feel intimate in a concert hall, while ensemble numbers and harmonies turn well-known melodies into big shared moments.

The songbook is the main attraction. Audiences can expect music associated with Disney Princess films across multiple generations, including soaring favorites from The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Mulan, Frozen, Moana, and more. The production balances signature ballads, uptempo showstoppers, duets, medleys, and sing-along moments, so the performance stays engaging for both children and adults.

The crowd is part of the atmosphere. Disney Princess - The Concert regularly draws multi-generational audiences, with young children in Princess costumes, tweens, parents, and adult Disney fans all sharing the same room. Between-song storytelling and humor from the cast help keep the evening warm, theatrical, and welcoming.

What to Expect at a Disney Princess - The Concert Concert

A Disney Princess - The Concert concert typically runs approximately two hours and usually includes an intermission. The production headlines the full program with no separate opening act, so the cast and musicians are the focus from start to finish.

The setlist draws from the full Disney Princess film catalog across eras. Audiences may hear songs connected to Snow White, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Mulan, The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Frozen, and Moana, with the program balancing signature ballads, medleys, and sing-along moments.

The room tends to be family-heavy and multi-generational. The energy is joyful and participatory, with children, parents, and longtime Disney fans reacting to songs they know by heart. Audience sing-alongs are a signature part of the experience, and the cast's humor and storytelling between songs help connect each performance to the films and characters fans remember.

Production is theatrical without overwhelming the vocal showcase. Expect live musicians, concert lighting, and large-screen animated film projections that tie the performances back to their original movies. The emphasis stays on vocals, warmth, and shared recognition rather than massive spectacle.

Getting Ready for Show Night

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation makes the whole evening run smoother — from the parking lot to the final encore.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Cell service around theaters, concert halls, and performing-arts centers gets congested as show time approaches. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before heading out so you're not searching at the gate.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard at most venues, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening out.
• Arrive before the listed start time. Shows often begin at or near the listed start time — arriving on time means you're in your seat when the music starts.
• Check the venue's bag policy before you go. Individual venues set their own security guidelines; reviewing them before you leave home prevents delays at the entrance.
