About Golden Nugget Atlantic City

Golden Nugget Atlantic City is a multi-purpose casino resort and entertainment destination located at 1 Castle Boulevard in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The property opened in 1985 as Trump's Castle, later operated as Trump Marina, and was rebranded as Golden Nugget Atlantic City in 2011 after its acquisition by Landry's, Inc. Its entertainment spaces vary by configuration, with showroom and event setups designed for intimate-scale shows ranging from several hundred guests to approximately 1,000 or more depending on the event.

The resort is owned and operated by Golden Nugget / Landry's, Inc. and is part of Atlantic City's Marina District, giving it a bayfront resort identity distinct from the Boardwalk casino corridor. Events at Golden Nugget Atlantic City include concerts, comedy, tribute and legacy-act performances, nightlife, casino-floor entertainment, and special ticketed events. Programming generally emphasizes close-range showroom-scale experiences rather than large arena productions.

Golden Nugget Atlantic City is known for combining its entertainment programming with an integrated resort experience that includes a casino, hotel towers, dining outlets, pools, and an on-site marina.

Location & Transportation

Golden Nugget Atlantic City is located at 1 Castle Boulevard, Atlantic City, NJ 08401 — in the Marina District, away from the main Boardwalk casino cluster and near the bayfront.

Driving and Parking: Most visitors arrive by car or casino shuttle. The property is accessed via Huron Avenue and Brigantine Boulevard in the Marina District, with on-site self-parking and valet available. Published self-parking pricing is approximately $15 Monday through Thursday and $20 Friday through Sunday.

Transit: NJ Transit buses and rail serve Atlantic City broadly, including the Atlantic City Rail Terminal downtown. Because the Marina District is less directly served by transit than the Boardwalk area, transit users should allow extra time to reach the resort from downtown Atlantic City.

Rideshare: Rideshare drop-off and pickup are available at the resort entrance. Post-event waits are generally manageable because the property operates at a smaller scale than major arenas.

Nearby Accommodation: The easiest lodging option is the on-site hotel at Golden Nugget Atlantic City. Additional hotels are available at nearby Marina District casino properties and at Boardwalk casino-hotels a short drive away.

Venue Navigation

Golden Nugget Atlantic City is a large integrated resort complex, so understanding how the casino, hotel, parking, and entertainment areas connect can make arrival smoother. Event spaces are accessed from within the resort, so guests should plan for a short walk through the property after parking or arriving at the main entrance.

Entrances and Access: Main entrances serve the casino floor, hotel, and parking structure. Ticketed event spaces are reached from inside the resort complex, with resort signage and staff helping guests move from the entrance areas toward entertainment rooms.

Accessibility: ADA-accessible parking, entrances, and accommodations are available as part of the resort. Accessible seating is typically offered for ticketed shows.

Dining Options

Inside Golden Nugget Atlantic City

Golden Nugget Atlantic City offers multiple on-site dining options inside the resort, including restaurants, casual dining, bars, and buffet-style choices typical of a Golden Nugget / Landry's property. Full bar and beverage service are available, making it practical to dine or meet for drinks before a concert, comedy show, or special event without leaving the property.

Outside the Venue — Atlantic City Marina District

The resort is located in Atlantic City's Marina District, where additional dining is available at nearby casino properties. The Boardwalk dining scene is also a short drive away, giving guests more options before or after an event if they want to extend the night elsewhere in Atlantic City.

Security & Policies

Golden Nugget Atlantic City maintains security and venue policies that are updated regularly and may vary by event. Before attending, reviewing the current policy on the venue's official website is strongly recommended.

Bag Policy: Standard casino-resort security screening applies, and bag checks may be in effect for ticketed events. Arriving with a small, easy-to-screen bag can help keep entry moving.

Commonly Prohibited Items: Typical prohibited items include weapons, outside food and drink, and professional recording equipment at ticketed shows. Gaming-floor age restrictions of 21 and older apply.

Entry Procedures: Event entry includes digital or physical ticket verification, with standard resort and casino security present throughout the property.

How Much Do Tickets to Golden Nugget Atlantic City Cost?

Golden Nugget Atlantic City ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the artist or comedian, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from tribute and legacy-act performances to comedy and special ticketed events.

Showroom concerts, tribute performances, and legacy acts are typically modestly priced, often starting around $25 to $60 depending on the performer, date, and seat location.

Comedy shows and special ticketed events typically run approximately $30 to $75 or more, with pricing influenced by the act, the day of week, overall demand, and whether the date is a marquee or holiday event.

Buying earlier generally yields better seat selection and pricing for higher-demand shows. As inventory shrinks and the event date approaches, prices for the best remaining sections can rise, especially for popular acts and weekend dates.

Golden Nugget Atlantic City Seating Guide

Golden Nugget Atlantic City offers a range of seating experiences for different budgets, group sizes, and event types. Because showroom and event-space configurations can change by performance, reviewing the seating map before purchase is the best way to compare proximity, sightlines, and pricing.

Best Seats at Golden Nugget Atlantic City

• Best value: Higher or farther-back areas in the room often provide strong value for fans who want the atmosphere of a live showroom performance at a more accessible price point.
• Closest to the action: Seats nearest the stage deliver the most direct view of the performer, making them a strong choice for concerts, comedy, tribute acts, and special appearances.
• Best overall experience: Mid-room seats can offer a balanced combination of clear sightlines, comfortable distance from the stage, and strong sound for intimate-scale events.
• For groups: Coordinating seats early is helpful for high-demand weekend shows, comedy events, and special ticketed performances where contiguous seats can move quickly.
• General admission: Some events may use general admission depending on the configuration, giving guests a more flexible setup for select performances.

Getting Ready for Your Golden Nugget Atlantic City Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at a casino resort where parking, dining, gaming, and event spaces are part of one large property.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the entrance without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Allow time for parking and walking through the casino complex to reach the event space.
• Wear the right footwear. Golden Nugget Atlantic City is an indoor resort environment with minimal terrain concerns, but normal walking across the property is part of the visit, so comfortable shoes are a smart choice.
• Dress in layers. Events are indoors, but the bayfront location can be breezy when arriving or leaving the resort.
• Build extra time into your transit plan. The Marina District is away from the Boardwalk, and transit users should plan extra time when traveling from downtown Atlantic City or the rail terminal area.
• Know your entrance. The event space is inside a large integrated resort complex, so checking the event listing and ticket details before arriving can help you move from parking or the main entrance to the show more efficiently.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
