The Wiltern TicketsLocated on the edge of Koreatown in downtown Los Angeles, California, the Wiltern is a city landmark that helps to create the overall impression of the city. Considered a top example of Art Deco architecture, the theatre is privately owned while being operated by Live Nation.
Built in 1931, the theatre was opened as the Warner Brothers Western Theatre. Originally designed as a vaudeville venue, the building was destined to be demolished until a group of preservationist saved it in the late 1970s. Since that time, restoration efforts have returned the building to its early glory, making it a prized entertainment venue once again.
Listed on the Register of Historic Places in Los Angeles, the theatre continues to be a gem of the Los Angeles entertainment scene. Seating arrangements allow for between 1,850 and 2,300 guests, allowing it to remain one of the largest theatres in the city.
