Located in Auburn, Washington on an Indian Reservation, the White River Amphitheatre is a Live Nation managed concert venue. Only fifteen minutes from Tacoma and little over forty-five from Seattle, the outdoor venue is a very popular stadium in its respective region. Seating over 20,000 patrons, it has become a place in which many of today’s most popular musicians perform concerts at, the first of which being Berlin and Heart, bands who took the stage in 2003. The relatively recently built venue has also been visited by stars like Jimmy Buffet, Iron Maiden, and Sting. The location also hosts two prestigious music festivals, The Uproar Festival and The Mayhem Festival, both of which are highly attended by individuals from around the intermediate area. Alongside Seattle’s trendy entertainment complexes, this outdoor arena has served to expand the city’s arts district to new heights, as it is most often visited by residents of the two larger cities. Because of the stadium’s young age, there have been no major renovations to date, and it should remain a popular spot for music enthusiasts for years to come.
