Located in Denver, Colorado, the Pepsi Center is a multipurpose arena that is home to several of the area’s professional sporting teams, including the Denver Nuggets of the NBA, the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League and the Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League.
Providing the top indoor venue in the Denver area, the arena is configured to provide premier seating for a number of events. The basketball capacity of the stadium is over 19,000, with hockey, lacrosse and arena football all able to entertain more than 17,000 fans. The concert seating allows for an impressive 20,000 people, with a capacity over 21,000 for the various special events held there.
Part of Kroenke Sports Enterprises, the venue is a landmark in the area. Opening in 1999 with a Celine Dion concert, the arena has hosted such major national events as the 2008 Democratic National Convention, the NCAA Hockey Final Four in 2008, and the 2012 NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four.
