Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, Canada is one of the many entertainment venues funded by beer companies and one of the premier amphitheaters anywhere in Ontario. As an outdoor facility it has a relatively limited season, but it makes up in value what it lacks in environmental controls. The first facility on this site was the Forum, opened in 1971. It was also a semi-enclosed venue, though it was far less permanent of a structure. The capacity of this first facility was 16,000, identical to the modern version. The demolition of the Forum was met with much controversy, but when Bryan Adams opened the new venue in 1995 it reclaimed its beloved status, selling out both opening concerts. This season is over for the winter, but it is never too early to start shopping for next season’s tickets. The biggest and best concerts always sell out fast so be sure to reserve your seats as soon as possible.
