The Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, OR seats over 12,300 fans, for a variety of sports, concerts, and other entertainment, including University of Oregon Ducks NCAA basketball. It’s unique among sports arenas, in that its floor has its own name, the Kilkenny Floor, named after Pat Kilkenny, the former director of University of Oregon Athletics. It features has the silhouettes of trees painted across it. Matthew Knight, meanwhile, was the son of businessman and philanthropist Phil Knight, who donated much of the money to build the arena.
In addition to sports, you can get Matthew Knight Arena tickets for a variety of great events throughout the year. Coming up in April is Monster Jam, the epic monster truck event, which features a “Party in the Pits” pre-show event on April 5th, wherein fans are invited to see the trucks up close and personal. Then in July, Rod Stewart and Santana perform in concert together, followed by Bruno Mars in August.
