This facility is famous for hosting a long list of events such as concerts, family shows, trade shows, conventions, meetings, and sporting events.
Opened in 1982, the venue is originally named as Centrum in Worcester. During that time, the seating capacity of the structure was roughly 12,000 only. Since its completion, the building has been a home field to a number of sports teams including, the Worcester IceCats of AHL, The New England Surge of CIFL, the Massachusetts Marauders of AFL, and the Worcester Sharks of AHL. The arena also became the host of some of the most remarkable performances in the history of its region which include: Up in Smoke Tour, Tattoo the Earth, Live Phish, Sesame Street Live, The Wiggles, Smackdown, and many more.
