Chesapeake Energy Arena Tickets
Originally called Ford Center and formerly Oklahoma City Arena, the Chesapeake Energy Arena is a multipurpose facility located in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Opened in 2002, this stadium is current home to the Oklahoma City Thunder of the NBA and the temporary location for the New Orleans Hornets during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Measuring at 581,000 square feet, the stadium seats up to 19,675 in its three seating levels with a fourth added during concerts and features 3,380 club seats, seven party suites and 49 private suites. Originally built without these features, the site was modified in 2008 to accommodate NBA requirements for the relocation of the Thunder.
An actively used venue, the site has hosted major concerts, social events and conventions, civic events ice shows and events for local universities and high schools. Some notable events held in the stadium include the World Wrestling Federation and the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
